GAcoaster
In an interesting (though not unexpected move) the tiny American Adventures park which was purchased by Six Flags as part of the White Water Atlanta Park in 1999 is no longer a Six Flags property. The park has a new website: AmericanAdventuresFunpark The park is now being run by Zuma Fun Centers which seems to run a bunch of these "party" parks. No word on whether it has actually been sold or if it's just being leased or just run by Zuma.
29yrswithaGApass
I wish I could say I didn't see this one coming... I am glad I got to visit last fall during their last season with Six Flags. It was a nice little family park.
JetsDevs4Lyf
No shock here either, as I think there was a short discussion of this park not opening on time this season and some other things a while back so it would only seem fitting that this is the result. It seems like a nice little family park overall. We have a place nearby called the funplex that we used to take kids to on camp field trips that had one of those enclosed foam ball areas with the cannons and stuff and surprisingly it was pretty fun at the time to be in there when it is chaotic inside At least the park is still being operated by someone and not just sitting vacant at this point. 29yrswithaGApass
Under American Adventures' new management team they are now open all year long and even added a new attraction this season - Go Karts! I'm happy to see the park up and running. Here is their new commercial:
