29yrswithaGApass
From the trees near the Log Flume to the tunnel of Rolling Thunder how many of you recall the collections of chewed gum that once dotted the park? Did you add to the works of art?
29yrswithaGApass
I remember seeing a gum tree for the first time while in line for the Log Flume in 1974. As a kid, I was amazed at all the different color gum and surprised people were willing to stick their pennies in the gum. As a little kid in 1974 it seemed like there was a fortune on the tree.
GAcoaster
I remember a post in the flume station being covered with gum like that for a couple of seasons, then they put a plexi panel on it to stop people from doing it. I just am just not a gum person so it seemed odd to me all around.
scott
I remember the gum trees. I was a bit of a party pooper I think. I remember thinking "That's disgusting. Put your gum in the trash. Someone is going to have to clean that up."
