Great Adventurer Posted May 22 Report Share Posted May 22 Better late than never! Some highlights from my brief visit to the park last Sunday. The presence of Vertical Velocity is evident well before guests reach the entrance gate. These great banners are affixed to each light pole near the security area. Construction on The Flash is advancing at a breakneck pace. It was amazing to see so much progress. Only a few track pieces for the park's newest ride remained near Nitro. The Barnstormer! These street signs provided a really nice touch. The good news: Zumanjaro has a sign again. The bad news: it has another, smaller sign, and the bolts on it imply that this one may stay here for a little while. Oh my! It was very nice to see the Runaway Mine Train preparing to accommodate passengers again. This guardian made sure no one got close enough to distract the Runaway Mine Train operator. Medusa has slightly reduced operating hours. The resort aspect of the park's name becomes official very soon! This sign may just be here from prior seasons. I'm glad I got to ride a few times at the beginning of the season either way. 1... 2... 3!
