Some basic rules: 1. You can create your photo album as soon as you reach the BLACK TAG level. Your "post count" needs to be 5 or more to become a BLACK TAG. Posts in any topic other than "General Discussions" count towards your post count. 2. Photos must be Great Adventure related. 3. Post only photos that are your own and not from a secondary source or copyrighted. 4. No obscene or suggestive photos allowed or photos taken from non-pubic areas. 5. Only on-ride photos from the Skyride, Carousel, and Big Wheel will be allowed in accordance with current Park guidelines. Older on-ride photos prior to restrictions will be considered. The process is simple: 1. Once a BLACK TAG, follow the instructions below to set up your album. One album per member. 2. Upload new photos at any time. 3. New photos will be briefly "Hidden" to the public until they are reviewed for submission. 4. Once approved, your pictures will appear in your album for everyone to view, enjoy, and provide comments and star ratings. 5. ENJOY SHARING AND VIEWING GREAT ADVENTURE MEMORIES! CREATE YOUR ALBUM TODAY! Click on any of the screen shots below to view a full size image. 1. Login into the Forums and click on the GALLERY button on the top of the screen. 2. Click on MEMBER GALLERIES. 3. Click on NEW ALBUM. 4. Enter your Login-ID as your ALBUM NAME, include an ALBUM DESCRIPTION for your photo collection, from the CATEGORY drop-down select MEMBER GALLERIES, and click CREATE ALBUM. 5. Using the SELECT AN OPERATION drop down, select UPLOAD IMAGE. 6. This will take you to the POST IMAGE screen. Enter a photo tile in CAPTION, any description in the main text box, and locate the photo file to download using the BROWSE button next to IMAGE TO UPLOAD. Click POST IMAGE. 7. Your photo will appear as HIDDEN followed by your CAPTION title. Once approved, the HIDDEN will be removed and your photo will be public. These are available exclusively to our members with new pictures arriving daily! As a logged-in member, in addition to viewing other people's photos you can start your own album (for members with 5+ posts), as well as comment and provide a star-rating to all your favorite pics. 29yrswithaGApass Posted November 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2007 Photos can be displayed full screen In case you didn't know, the photos in the gallery can be displayed in large format. Clicking on a thumbnail will display the photo in the album (approximately 4x6"). Clicking on that image will display the photo near-full screen so that you can enjoy all the details! As a reminder, our galleries are available to any logged-in member of GreatAdventureHistory.com. In addition to providing hundreds of photos for our members, the galleries also allow you the opportunity to share any Great Adventure photographs that you may have with our on-line community. The galleries also allow viewers to share comments and stories about the pictures. It is sort of like another set of forums within the galleries! The number of comments that have been made for each photo is listed next to the word COMMENTS under each thumbnail photo. Just double click on a photo and any comments will be displayed under the enlarged picture. Please review the first posting in this topic for step-by-step instructions on how to set up your own photo album and how to begin sharing your pictures and memories. Railer has just added an entire set of historic pictures of the park from 1978 and 1981 including excellent shots of the Super Side Winder, Miniature Marvels, and the Swiss Bob just to name a few. It makes me mad that my parent's didn't take more and better shot's than the old pics. that they left me with. They are Great addition's to the site. During my family's visits in the early 70s we used all of our film in the Safari and never bothered to carry a camera around in the theme park.
