Note-- The actual calendar will get this updated later today (I had an issue with my connection this morning)
The Golden Kingdom was AMAZING when it opened, and it's really sad to see how it's just been decimated and let get run down over time. It's time for a rehabilitation or replacement instead of just letting the space sit under utilized.
-
These got re-done a few years ago now, they just cheaped out.

I agreed, I can see cedar fair esque budgets comes to all six flags parks
Cedar Fair actually spends MORE on maintenance than Six Flags. Cedar Point has the identical Ferris Wheel and it is impeccably maintained.
-
Great Adventure used to have a full day of shows to see for those who didn't want to ride rides or needed a break, and now there is very little. It's past time to bring back shows, including a show in Showcase Theater.
-
I keep using the same thought with this as so many things around the park, if the Cedar Fair parks can maintain things, so can Six Flags. Hopefully they will do a better job now they're all one company.

The two remodeled restaurants really don't fit their exteriors. Between the drab, grey and the undersized and inadequate light fixtures, so many strange choices were made and it looks like they really cheaped out with the most generic, builders grade materials.
-
As the centerpiece of the park, the Big Wheel needs to look like an icon again with the lighting restored as part of an overall restoration of the ride. Just like with yesterday's wish of the Log Flume, we hope this doesn't suffer budget cutting and get cheaped out on.
-
The Log Flume REALLY deserves to be fully restored. For many people it is THE ride they remember most at the park from the day it opened through today.
It's really important to me and many guests that this is actually done right and not a victim of budget cutting like so many projects at the park seem to have been.

It was so much easier when the calendar was published at the start of the season and was pretty much set in stone.

Flash can EASILY be ready for 2024, unless they are doing what they have and push construction off until after the first of the year when weather often has a huge impact on construction timelines.

no Christmas graphics on the homepage?
While Thanksgiving may have passed, the actual Christmas season will kick off for us on December 1st with the launch of this year's Great ADVENTure Calendar!
-
With the Log Flume coming back into service, Best of the West should return to regular service as well. It's too nice a restaurant to only be used as a passholder lounge.

One of the easiest and cheapest ways to add thematic elements to the park is to use themed music that's appropriate to each section of the park.

-
On Justice League, bring back the 3-D effects and glasses-- they made the ride better!
Fix the effects on The Dark Knight-- it started out as a decent family coaster, but has been allowed to deteriorate over time.
Improve the masking for Skull Mountain and make it dark again, or even add some interior themed elements and lighting.
-
Intamin sold the Parachute rides as combination Observation Tower and Parachute Tower. Knott's Berry Farm's is an identical tower that used to have both and now just has the observation car in operation.
-
It used to be attractions opened with the park or at least opened with the Memorial Day weekend start of summer. Lately many new attractions open late or are postponed.
-
Hurricane Harbor started out as a lush, tropical waterpark with great theme elements. Over time the park has become run down and lost its beautiful theme.
-
-
Nitro will be 23 years old in 2024, and needs repainting and some TLC.
-
The simulator building has sat vacant for years now-- it's time for something new to be added inside.
-
With the new combined Six Flags/Cedar Fair, the company will have a portfolio of hotels and resorts, and Great Adventure should be a park that gets one added in the coming years.

Printed maps are really missed in the parks, and poster maps would be great to have back as well!
