  1. They do say T-Rex section's can span long distances without support's lol. But i think any major expansion for HH is limited to this area, to the rt. of the Gate's. The land between the Park and 537 act's as sort of a "buffer" to seperate the Park from the rd. I think they would be limited to this area, any other way and your moving Entrance/Exit Road's for the Park. And i am not really sure where that person posting meant the "Suit's" and Hardhats were.
  2. Hey, don't make fun of her post. Last year i saw all the "suit's" from Texas with Clipboard's and Tablet's looking over right where "Carribean Cove" now sits month's before the announcement of it. All you have to do is go back and look at the Post's for proof. And from when she posted it, it was right around the same time as last year
  3. Here's an "inbox" someone sent my FB Page, i would never post a rumor like this heard "2nd hand", and i really don't think they are making another indoor Coaster. But here is what a Landscaper told someone, and i know within the Landscaping Dept are some people that are member's of Park FB Group's, think they were having some fun. While in the park today, I was told some details on the 2017 attraction, from a landscaper. They were telling me that we were getting a ride called something like "Hall Of Justice" which I then said "Yea, the ride with the laser guns" and they said no, it's not the laser ride, it's a roller coaster. If it is a roller coaster, that would explain the extra 3000 Sq footage of space, and why our request to the town didn't specify what ride we were getting, like the other park that requested the space for the JL ride. If you decide to post this somewhere, do not say that a landscaper told you, because I don't want anyone to get fired.
  4. I posted numerous times month's ago now that they would make a "Macho Nacho" like Resteraunt in Movietown at the old HBO Backlot. I guess they liked the idea, they actually made it into the Park's second "Macho Nacho".
  5. Observatory and old Photo Booth maybe? But what that does have me thinking now, is why not do this demo when had the Company in the Park doing the Station? Tell's me maybe this was sort of "last minute", and i bet maybe "Lightning Rod's" troubles did play a factor in us not getting that Launcher. As i've been saying the Park's priority is getting those "Old Country" Path's drawing good again to "thin" our Crowd's some. Maybe when the launcher fell-thru last minute, they decided to move up "JL", but into what was the priority to them, the "Old Country". It would explain alot.
  6. ......"and existing Structures are PROPOSED to be demo'ed to make room for new attraction's". As in, they are not demo'ed yet, but they got approval to demo more.
  7. I think now some may see what "the method of my madness" was with all this. Here is a reply i recieved this morning from someone that i did not speak with yesterday. It seem's the Park may have plan's to demo something still, i wouldn't mind that "Justice League" Facade sitting right where the Stunt Arena is. EDIT I removed the Zoning Officer's name from the post, but it is one of the 3 that are listed on the Twp's site. While this office can appreciate your concerns, the time to air such concerns would have been at last night's Planning Board meeting. And while I don't attend those meetings, if the application was indeed approved, you will have an opportunity to appeal any such decision, at your expense, through the Superior Court of New Jersey - Law Division- Ocean County. Thank you for your time in this matter. And as we speak, I'm told by the Planning Board Secretary, that no trees are proposed to be removed, and existing structures are proposed to be demo'ed to make room for new attractions. Hope this helps. Jackson Township Zoning Office
  8. I guess what everyone is too dense to realize is that if anyone got a Planning Board member to ask the question "why make a new Building?", the answer will be from Park rep's under oath in the "Minutes" next month. What better way to get a straight answer from the Park than have it posted online in a few Week's......
  9. Oh, i really don't give a crap either way, i'm not giving them my Money anymore, that's all that's relavent to me. If complaining to the Board actually gets a delay, good, as it will cost the Park Money. If not, oh well. I'm not the type that complains about thing's i don't like, i forget they exist and move on once i am done with it whatever it is.
  10. No, it will be "we recieved many e-mail's form Jackson resident's voicing concern over Building a new Building, when the same Building only being used as storage at Great Adventure, has been converted in other Park's for the same said Attraction, lets delay the Vote until we know all the specifics", since it can only take one vaild concern that can get them to postpone a Vote to gather the fact's. And then a month will go by until the next vote can happen. And "storage" is not a valid excuse to Build a new Building, at least not to the Board it's not since that was already discussed today in my correspondence.
  11. Don't forget Quarterly Return's for the Stockholder's in the Park's descision making process since that now seem's way above Guest Satisfaction. The only reason any of us can see them making a new Building and not spending the Money to move an Attraction, and re-furbish a current building is how cheap Building a new one is. But them saving Money now will cost them the long-term earning potential a new Attraction in the Games will provide for a couple year's.
  12. It's more about using certain "keyword's" that get into People's Head's, and get's them thinking. But the question is a very valid one that the Park will now be asked tonight "Why make a new Building for an Attraction, when in another Six Flag's Park that same new Attraction was placed in the same Building we have currently only being used for Storage?". And the Building we currently have that was converted and only being used for storage now, is in a better location for that "New Attraction" than where they want to Build a new Building for it.
  13. Emailed every member of the Planning Board, and emailed those that opposed the Solar Farm to ask why Build a new Building when other Park's in the Chain added the exact same new Attraction, in the exact same Building we have sitting as an "eye sore", and is only used for Storage at "Great Adventure". Why make a new one that will cause more damage to the Fragile eco-system of those Protected Wetland's, when they could use an existing structure, that would actually make the Park more Money by placing a new Attraction in it at the end of the Games Section for 2017. And from the replies i recieved from Planning Board Member's, they are all very legit question's that now will be asked.
  14. Exactly, Quarterly return's for Shareholder's is all they care about anymore, and i for one am sick of it. From ad wrap's, to removing Rides to boost Flashpass Sales, now all the way up putting an attraction in a stupid spot just because it's cheaper to put it there, when in the other spot would make them more Money long term, and just be a smarter move for future development.
  15. All the work i am doing today almost makes me want to go to the Planning Board Meeting just to see how it all unfold's now. Other's now feel the same way i do, but the difference is they are in a postion to do something about it.
  16. Had to have been cheaper building new in this case. Those new Building's are only $16-$20 a sq ft to put up. If they could of changed the layout of a "JL" in the Sim to accommodate the "facade" on a diff side of the Building, GA could of got away with only having to relocate the "Road Race" and the cost of the re-hab. But if they couldn't, and could only do it the way the other Park did, they would have had to moved "Slingshot" and those monster Footer's for those Tower's. Either way, a re-hab cost, plus a ride removal cost, compared to $16-$20 a sq ft. Easy to see why they are building a new building.
  17. Or maybe if they would invest to expand to the Guest level's that we now have. This year was a start, but they need more. And this is nothing new, been hitting capacity for the last few year's. Best way to make it enjoyable is avoid it on days like that, and that's pretty much every day but Tues, Wed, and Thurs. And if it's really hot out, then it's mobbed on those days even.
  18. Let some Board Member's and the Watchdog Group know what's going on.
  19. Took my Girls ro Hershey, they loved it. Not that bad of a run for me, my town is right under NJ/PA Turnpike Bridge. I went once a year to Hershey growing up, but always had GA Passes being so close. EDIT And if it did get denied for whatever reason, they would just file an Appeal. But unless it's good, legit reason's to contest it, it would get approved even if did go complain lol. Actually, i should just go on the Twp's FB Page, and tell them they want to add an Attraction that in other Six Flag's Park's has been placed in a converted Structure of the same Building we have sitting empty, making a new building, cutiing sown TREES!!!!! haha That little patch of Tree's by "Musik's" que are some old ones from the early days of the park, all 3 or 4 of em' lol.
  20. The "Hall Of Justice" will really seem out of place next to a "Gotham City" Observatory with it's "gothic" looking style. I hope they do it in a way where maybe "Mama Flora's" (or whatever it's called now) days are numbered, and a big entryway is made over there somewhere. That would leave the Movietown side of "Chiller's" old spot still open.
  21. I think we almost did, or someone is with that "Dueler" they showed. Were out of the running, but watch em' give it to MM, a Steel Version of what they already have in "Twisted Colussus". That would be "salt in the wound" bigtime, and show the level of stupidity lol.
  22. It is confirmed by the Georgia Planning Board Minutes that SFOG is getting the other "JL". MM gets the custom i bet. And i have bribed 500 Jackson Twp resident's to go to the Planning Board Meeting to get our "JL" Building DENIED!!!lol And i forgot about "Houdini" being another "Rainy Day" Ride.
  23. ^^^ Already said that the Union Local is Building the "Barn", and that's what the work is that they have at the Park that i have known about. That, along with the Survey and all the other stuff that happened that we have been talking about for a year now. And i didn't have anyone convinced, the fact's i pointed out is what had people thinking it was a Coaster. That's all i ever point out. But i was thinking with "Lightning Rod" down again, and never really up and running ever yet, i bet it did kill any more Launcher's from RMC for the time being, and maybe they had to change it up the last minute, and that's why they are making such, as what i see a "shortsided" move with the location. I have been saying the priority to them is to get those Path's up and running to help distribute our heavy Crowd's. How cheap those new Building's are, along with getting that section up and running again, maybe "trumped" what they have to know is a better location for a "JL" on the "Boardwalk". And just think, now after everything is open, "Movietown" will be the "Rainy Day" part of the Park starting next year. Everyone will run there to get out of the Rain since all the enclosed attraction's (cept' for Skull) are going to be right next to each other. (Showcase, TDK, JL) The Guest's all the way over in Frontier Adventures will be screwed and get soaked with that hike across the Park lol.
  24. For the one Post a couple back, yea, there will be the new Traffic going into a what was a "dead" section of the Park, and alot of new Guest Traffic over there.............walking down a long with not a single place to spend Money at. So tell me how then the Park will make Money off all the new Traffic that will be going from the Fountain to "Chiller's" spot when there is no place to spend it? Yeah, the "JL" Shop will get a boost, and whatever they end up doing with the "HBO Backlot" as new Resteraunt. And maybe even if they re-furb the Couple "Old Country" Shop's along the Fence, in no way will it make as much of it would have at the end of the Games Section no matter what they do. Only thing that may offset that is if they put in a huge Retail/Games in the "Autobahn". . And it's not that i'm complaining that the park is not making enough Money, i do want them to do good though, as the better they do, the better the Guest Experience should be. It's just the line of thinking that a "JL" in Movietown show's they have to me. I know if i was running thing's at the Park, the Guest would be #1. Me knowing how easy it would be for them to make the Guest Experience alot better for Parent's with Small Kids opening up some of those Old Path's to make getting around that huge side of the Park alot easier (and HH, and especially there as a Parent in a Water Park going on Slides, as you don't have the Kids in a Stroller) Now i know the Games suffered because of those Path's being open, and that's why they closed them up, to get more Traffic in the Games, and it worked. But now they finally have a chance for a new attraction in the Games area, that is a perfect match for the area next to those two Coaster's. Now with me running thing's i would say "hey, here's chance for a new Ride in that spot, to where the Guest's Traffic will get such a boost, we can open up an old Path finally, and make the Guest's day easier. Maybe that extra 15min walk that we are eliminating for them, will allow that Guest who comes once a year, to get that one last ride in on a Coaster they never rode before". That would be high up on my list of "plusses" of putting a JL" over there, probably the #1 thing actually if i held true to keeping the Guest first. That's why the only "pass" i will give them on this move, is if there is some sort of reason they could not do it the Simulator Building. But with what i learned now on how cheap those new Building's actually are, i think i see exactly why they chose "Chiller". For them to re-move/re-locate "Slingshot", plus the cost of changing the Sim Building over, i bet the $320,000 they are spending on that new Building is alot cheaper than doing all that to the "Boardwalk". So they just chose the Cheap option.
