  1. Well, we really do need a Water attraction on the Movietown side of the Park. Kingdom has Splashwater, BBNP has the Water Tower, and Frontier has the Flume. Kids have nothing to cool down with near the Seaport, and they really need. Especially with how hot we are going to be getting real soon, and espescially in the year's to come.
  2. If we made a Pool to go along with it, i'm all in then!!! lol. But i could picture one of these going right across from where the Grandstand was, in the Lake. I don't know what the weather is there, but that Water in a hot Summer will have alot of Algea going right down their throat's when screaming lol.
  3. Water look's nasty. I'd pass on this one unless they used Chlorinated Water, i don't swim in Lakes, and i wouldn't get soaked by lake Water either. Enclolosed, "non-flowing" Lake Water is Disgusting.
  4. Sky Pond is fun. Those 2 speed slides that intertwine with it are the best Mat Slides they have on both Pier's. I always do that Pier's Water Park.
  5. I just really don't understand why they won't pull the trigger on that Wood Coaster they have been saying for years now that they are doing.
  6. Some of us were thinking it may be something along the lines of what's in TDK's que, but instead of Chris Nolan's Joker goon's as the mask, it will be the Joker's face over Guest's. With the "Joker Cam" sign, it seemed a possibility. But from your pics, there are no Camera's set up i can see, yet anyway. But really good pics, can get a good feel for how the whole area came out from them. Once all the greenery grows in it will be nice upgrade to something that must of cost the Park alot of money to keep up and running with that huge salt water Pool. Especially with those old pump's and filter's, and they got no return for it. One thing i don't like is this new pattern of these generic, "pre-fab" que's they sprout out now. They all have the same "feel", think it started with the "Green Lantern", even though i really like that que with all the prop's along it.
  7. That's just terrible lol. With such a large area, and how many Family's will be most likely be making that their "Camp" for the day, having to take such a long walk from the Racer Slides, to Big Bam Boo, when they are like 30ft apart is going to suck. I forsee that little rope "fence" being stepped over constantly, cause' that's all it is that seperates the Path's. 2 little Rope fences, and a little mulch bed that will have alot of footprint's in it. And it is great they painted the bottom of the River. It was pretty bad last year, looked like alot of Leaves were stuck at the bottom of a Pool, but it was the exposed black under the blue paint. Guess that is a primer???
  8. They are going to HAVE to connect that path by the new Beach area. That "beach" when it's done with the shade structures will be a new "base camp" on that side of the Park (finally) and Guest's will have to have easy and fast access to those slides without having to travel out of the way on the Island. And they are preparing for larger crowd's that a 9% increase bring's with the new Gate setup, and add that on top of whatever this year's increase will bring (doubt it will be as big, the deep discounting on Passes cooled off some) it's another little thing that fits the big plan and picture. New path's and area's to handle the Crowd's we now pull in both Park's. They are going to be investing alot coming up, great times ahead.
  9. And to just chime in here, i don't know anyone with that Park Journey site, i was just as surprised as anyone to see that post they did. And they could be full of crap for all i know lol. And yes, Movietown hasn't really had anything done yet but a pile of Stone that's been there for a bit now from any recent pics i've seen. I really can't comment on that, since i have not been to the Park. It's just if they did get a piece of news somehow, it fits with what i'm still hearing about jobs coming up with the Local. And nothing prob is finalized yet, it usually never is this early, unless it's a situation like last year with alot of demo. And just to add, i don't put what i want them to get, or what i think they need, as what i say that may be coming. I just take the info i get and put it all together and see where it lead's. And it seem's to work pretty good, so far it has anyway. EDIT : I was thinking also with the pattern of now how they now stopped the "deep discounting" of Passes they did the last couple year's, that was a big factor in us getting that 9% increase in Guest's we now have. But with that discounting now stopped, it does also fit a financial pattern that now the next coming year's, unless they go back to the "deep discounting", they will have to rely on bigger attraction's for increases, or at least to keep level's the same.
  10. It seem's as that is the plan, and it has been the plan for just about a year now. The only thing i wasn't sure about was the problem's they were having with the LIM's, and if they would of caused a year delay or not. It don't seem they are. And knowing how SIx Flags operates they would not spend $$$ on a new Building for a "Justice League", when they already converted the same Simulator Building we have in another Park. And the fact that our SImulator Building is in a spot that would generate a ton of $$$ if they put a "Justice League" in it at the end of The Boardwalk next to "Superman" and "Green Lantern" Coasters is too perfect of a scenerio to pass up. They still won't even give us a path to get from Toro to Ka without going thru the Boardwalk, think they would pass up the chance to put a new attraction in that "land-locked" section of the Park? Movietown/Old Country will be "Gotham City", with a T-Rex as the new draw, and prob a new Resteraunt/Bar in the old Backlot Commisarry, and most likely a re-branding of Showcase Theater.
  11. They will NOT put a Justice League in Movietown. And Lightning Rod is done and open, all issues are worked out now, and not delaying anything but "Lightning Rod". But not getting into it with anyone still, really don't care. I just know i'm right, and i've been right, and now thing's will start to confirm i'm right. Just like i said they would start to confirm it as the time gets closer. EDIT : And i back-up what i say with actions also. I've said before i'm not a Theme Park "mark", and take season's off. With what i know that's coming, and this year being no big deal (to me anyway) i'm not getting Passes for me and my kids, and not giving any money to Six Flags. I'll get them next year to a ride a "1st of it's kind". That's why they try to keep stuff like that secret....... And i stated this last year, but i guess no one has memories, or choose not to remember. But remember when on numerous occasions i said "the Local of the Steel Workers Union know what's coming, since they have to book the job" way before the "official" announcement was made. Who was in that video signing the Joker's Track piece? But back to now, what's a T-Rex made of again? The job is booked already.
  12. Well, well, well, look at what i found. I think it's only fitting it break's now since it's about a year since i've been saying it. But, like i've been saying, it's just another little piece of the puzzle. Park Journey supposedly has the location of 2017 at Great Adventure, and it's right where i say we get RMC's 1st T-Rex, "mobius" dueler. https://twitter.com/park_journey?lang=en
  13. From the sound's of it they just used a Casting Agency/Agent to cast the commercial. Commercial's usually pay really well, hence the $300 buyout. That just mean's they can use it forever and not have to give anymore compensation. Most commercial's do a year Buyout, as almost all ad campaign's never last more than a year. Unless it ends up being a "hit", then after that 1st year if they still use it, you get another payment. I worked in NYC as an BG Actor for 8yrs now (i'm SAG, have an IMDB Page)
  14. ......go for the purple Track. That spin-fin is right before the 2nd Raven Turn, more Mayhem!!!!
  15. It's always been the plan for us to get one. Out of most of the Park's with them, our's will prob be have the best setup, and location out of them all. Having a new "evolved" version of Justice League, next to two "somewhat" aging B&M's themed to "Superman" and the "Green Lantern", at the end of a large Games area is going to be very profitable addition for the Park. I also don't really see how they can add one, using the same setup with that same building without moving "Slingshot". That area will have to be the "Hall Of Justice" facade, and overflow que. And where i'm sure some merchandise cart's will go the 1st couple year's. But if they nail down the problem's with "Lighting Rod", and whatever the issue's are with the Launch System so they won't be repeated, i'm still holding on to next year being "Old Country/Movietown". Fred Graub only has about month left to figure it out lol.
  16. And i guess no one gets those darn Body Panel's that would of really looked good on "The Joker" that was in the press material. It really looked like we were going to get them, maybe after testing is over. It prob has the hrs. and runs it need's, or should real soon already.
  17. Loving the new Shirt's with the Old Logo, and new Skyline. Said it from the start, Fitzgerald is a great "steward" of our Park's past, he understand's the appeal it has with us all, and he shares it as well. And all the "Batman" VIllian Themeing coming in the Joker's Que really plays well with this being the year of the "Villian". It does paint a pictire of where it most likely will go next year, it's almost overkill it's so obvious at this point.
  18. Those green tower looking prop's were for the "Ha" on top of them at the entrance to the Tent. And now we know it's mirror's that were inside it, couldn't really make out what they were in the rendering. And it does look like one side has a different fin setup on the lower level of the circut. One look's to have one less, unless they are staggered on the bottom, and just didn't find the other fin yet in pics.
  19. The Fins coming off the Lift are the longest ones on the ride, they give the biggest "push". From the vid the fins make the Seats spin "forward", or the direction the Car is moving. But "forward" is backward's for one set of Seat's since they went with the "Face-Off" seating. So it has alot of re-rideability sitting in the different Seat's, getting the hang of flipping or not. I know going over the "Raven Turn's" during a spin will make for some new, and weird sensation's.
  20. In the video of the test run you can see the fins getting the Seat's spinning good. We do have more flip's than Texas. Our fins do seem to be staggered on the lower level.
  21. In your one shot can see the Spin-Fin on the lower level of "The Joker". They look to be staggered on the lower level, or one is not installed yet because there is a single Fin on one rail.
  22. Maybe a trim Brake adjustment is up there? Only thing that i can think of that would require Stair's and a Platform there, that now would not be needed. Maybe with Batman being the 1st, they made that Brake be adjustable with the height of the Fin. But now after Batman running a year, they know where to set it from the start. Just a guess though.
  23. They can not be "on" stronger or weaker, they have no power what so ever. The positioning, and the length of the Fins determine how much "spin" they give to a Seat. The Guest's preferance of what they want to do will be the main factor once everyone figures out how to throw your weight around to get going good.
  24. From the look's of how they also moved the fins down the little hill's more than in Texas, i think they took what they learned from that installation to make ours a little better, Coming off that little "hump" if your already going in a spin good from coming over the hill, hitting the lower fin will really boost you along to get going good. In Texas you hit the fin first, then the hill gets you going good. They switched it for "The Joker". I think if you want to flip on "The Joker", your going to flip alot..
  25. We have 2 more "Spin-fins" than Texas, the most can do on the "6 Element". Texas has the long ones on the 1st little drop, but only one on each side, staggered. We have 2 on each side, in the same spot's on both little "hump's". Not in this shot is the single fin on the other side. It still will be based on the rider, the fins will help you along though to get going really good if you want too.
