Really? I was at the park on opening day and I didn't see any checkpoints. Do they force you to buy a locker now? I always put my phone in a zippered pocket and I've never had a problem.

Anyone know when the joker and zumanjaro will be open? When I was at the park opening day zumanjaro was testing all day but the joker didn't even have any trains on the track and there was wiring everywhere.

When you're walking into the Golden Kingdom, on the right there is safari discoveries (i think that's what it's called) and if you walk into there and make a right there is a pathway that leads to the entrance of Plaza del Carnaval. There's also animals in there that you can look at and I only ever see a few people in there.

There is a shortcut that connects them but not that many people seem to know about it or use it.

I think I re-rode El Toro about 11 times in a row during an ERT event back in April or May. I remember it was an after closing ERT so El Toro was the only coaster open in the park. It was really weird riding it and seeing the rest of the park completely empty. Now I really want to ride El Toro right now haha.

2016 was a great year for me amusement park wise. I went to the park a total of 18 times! I'm getting my driver's license in July so I plan on going even more this year! I definitely made my dining pass worth it haha.

I was at the park yesterday and Joker was down all day. When I walked into the park I noticed that there was a train stuck in the middle of the ride and it took them all day to get it down. Anyone know how it got stuck? Could it be because of the cold weather? Were there people on it or was it just a test run? It was my last visit to the park for the year and I was kinda bummed I didn't get to ride it but oh well.

So what exactly is on the dining pass for HITP?

From my experience, the car that starts forwards at the top on the green side is the best. I always get the most flips in that car by far. I think the most times I've flipped is maybe 6. What I did the last few trips is go on the Joker right before closing, so there is no wait. I went on it on Tuesday and went on at least five times that day, and three in a row just before I left. It's a fun coaster when there's no wait, but I'm not a fan of waiting a long time for it.

When I went to Six Flags New England a few years ago, I got Gold because I was only there for the day and knew I wouldn't be back for a while. Considering how long the lines were that day, I don't think I would of been able to ride every major coaster more than once if I didn't have Flash Pass. I do agree that it's extremely annoying when people have Platinum and ride twice. It's the WORST when you are with a group and want to get on the same train, and you're all about to walk on together when all the sudden the people stay sitting in the row you're waiting for. Even though other people in my group can ride, we want to ride together, so then they have to let two people in front of them and it's a mess. One time this situation happened three times in a row and we waited an extra TEN MINUTES to get on the same ride. With Platinum you're only waiting 10% of the normal wait, so if they really want to ride again it wouldn't take that much longer to reserve it again.

When will me know what rides are open during HITP this year? I wonder if the Joker will be open.

They told me what row to go to but I politely asked for the back row and the attendant said yes.

The second time I rode it they asked me and my friend how old we were. There's also a sign at the beginning of the queue that says you need to be 13+. I also saw kids ride just without wearing the VR.

I went in it after one failed attempt and it was pretty cool. I'd say I wouldn't wait more than an hour for. I got a score of 2020. If it doesn't work for you, tell them and they will give you an exit pass.

I'm at the park now and earlier I waited 45 minutes for Skull Mountain vr just for it to not work at all. It seemed like it was working but when the ride started the plane never moved. I complained and got a free pass to skip the line and try again.

Is the vr open all day? I know the vr at other parks opens at noon or later and before that time it's just the regular ride without vr. I'm planning on going on it right when I get to the park tomorrow.

What about the area where voodoo island is? It seemed like a big area when I was walking through it.

I payed 50 because they gave everyone a paper that was good for one free haunted attraction but I redeemed mine for $5 off the trail pass.

At least it gives me two things to look forward to doing next weekend when I go to the park. I get to experience Cell Block 6 for the first time and Skull Mountain VR.

I had a good experience at the park yesterday. I got the express pass which was totally worth it especially for bloodshed. The regular line was really long but with express I waited a few minutes. Everything else was a walk on with express. I did each one several times but Cell Block 6 was closed. Also Big Top Terror was my favorite and I thought the 3D was really cool. I feel like the indoor ones got worse later in the day. When they first opened at 3, they put you in much smaller groups compared to later in the day when it was more crowded. I guess since there are more people in a group, they would take longer. So what ended up happening is we always caught up with the group in front of us almost every time and the actors already scared them, so they didn't really scare us at all. Also earlier in the day there were actors in the beginning of Total Darkness but later in the day you went through the first part without getting scared at all. Overall I still had a lot of fun. I rode Zumanjaro at night for the first time and it was a very different experience. It actually felt taller at night if that makes any sense.

Really? I was there yesterday too and I saw a sign saying it would be closed for the day. I wish I knew it was open!

I'm going to the park tomorrow. I've been to FF twice before, but I've never done any of the mazes. I'm really excited to get my first maze pass and see what they're like. I've never done a scary maze anywhere so I'm a little scared. I'm staying at the park from 11am-11:30pm which means I have a long day tomorrow. How are the lines for the coasters in the morning? Is the park crowded before any of the scary attractions start?
