Does GL still have those speakers when going up? I haven't been on it in a while, and I feel like when I used to go on it I never really noticed it anyway.

My mom is trying to tell me she is going to wait to buy season passes for next year because they always extend the sale an extra few weeks. Can someone knock some sense into her for me? I know they have extended it in the past but who is to say they will do that this year. Also, next year will also be my first year of being able to drive so I should be able to get around to the park more often.

Medusa's theme (if you wanna call it that) fits much better in Frontier Adventures than Bizarro. However, Bizarro's theme is better overall.

Hoping to buy a pass for next year. Still have yet to convince my mom it is worth it. But if I do get one for 2016 I believe it would be my 5th year with a season pass. I may have to end up buying one myself but I really wouldn't mind doing that.

I also feel as though they are finding more ways every year to preserve the life of a coaster. Back in the 1900s a lot of coasters really didn't last too long because of problems and not being able to keep it properly maintained. But now, even the oldest coasters are able to run efficiently today. Some of our newer coasters are down much more than some of our older coasters.

Pretty sure they ran together in Zumanjaro's promo as well as commercials for the park. They just do that for visuals.

The parking lot getting paved would be a great thing. If they did that I wouldn't even mind if they didn't get anything else that year I have said this before but I am going to say it again: The next coaster they get MUST be an original coaster with an ORIGINAL layout. I know that the GP really could care less about this and it actually is good to have replicas around the country so people all over can ride a ride like it, but an original idea would bring more money to them because if you are the only park with a coaster like that, people are going to want to come and ride it. But again, it is definitely easier just to add a coaster that already has the same layout as another than trying to figure out a brand new one but let's take a look at SFGadv and their major coasters Nitro: Multiple other coasters with very similar layout (Diamondback, Apollo's Chariot, +more) Kingda Ka: TTD has very similar layout, just shorter/slower/no hill Batman: The Ride: 6 other coasters with same name and layout Superman: Ultimate Flight: 2 other coasters with same name and layout Green Lantern: Rougarou is basically a mirror image of GL (but is now a floorless coaster) The Dark Knight: 2 other coasters with same name and layout Bizarro: Scream is a mirror image of Bizarro, TDK @ SFNE is very similar El Diablo: 7 other parks have this ride Total Mayhem: exact replica of Batman: The Ride at SFFT *El Toro: Unique layout that no other coaster comes close to even being similar As I was looking at a few other parks, I couldn't find one that had as many re-used or unoringal coasters as we do. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also it is worth noting that a majority of these examples, our coaster opened after at least one of the ones that were either similar or identical.

We got the 2nd best addition out of all Six Flags parks this year so we should be happy. Yes it is pretty lame that it is the exact same thing that SFFT got last year and they didn't even have the decency to make a new video for it but regardless I am very excited to ride this and can't wait to see how it changes the view when you first walk into the park.

I hated the color scheme at first but it really isn't too bad. The color for the supports I think is a good choice. Would still rather have some type of blue for the track but the orange/red two toned is pretty cool. And the orange facing the park is good because I don't think the red would look very good over the lake.

Personally I like Bizarro better than Medusa. But, what would have been cooler for them to do was to keep Medusa an then when GL came to the park name that Bizarro, so it would be superman and bizarro next to each other. In 2017 it will be a JL dark ride, and in 2018 the dueler. Can't see them getting a coaster 3 years in a row.

Also why does the video say "Summer 2016"? Are they really going to wait that long to open it? KK doesn't have a lap bar though. This would be an improvement.

No other park has "officially" announced anything though which I find strange.

Why did Great Adventure announce at 5am when no other parks did? Either way I guess i'm going back to sleep while I wait for the rest.

Would be better if this wasn't an exact replica of the ride six flags fiesta texas got last year. But I guess you take what you can get. Also, the color scheme is pretty nasty, blue and gray would be a better choice. Either way, still a good addition to the park and I sure can't wait to ride it.

Railer, i'm not speaking directly about you so don't get that idea when I say this but, I just can't stand why people have to go and leak things. Can't we just wait for it be announced? Are you really that impatient where we have to ruin the fun? I understand things will get leaked but why do we have to go and tell more people about it? It's like with music getting leaked. The artist obviously doesn't want that to happen. They worked hard on it. The park doesn't want this to be leaked, they worked hard on the announcement. Sorry but I just had to get that of my chest.

I agree that an exact clone of that is unfortunate. The only unique coasters (one that you will find nothing similar at any other park) we have is El Toro. Really try to think. Our coaster lineup is superb don't get me wrong, BUT, very similar or identical models are scattered throughout the country.

Whether that is real or not, I'll still be getting up at 5am to see the official announcement. I am hoping for more than just this, possibly a new slide in HH or some flat rides.

Guess I gotta set my alarm for 445am tomorrow. Ah well I guess I got to start getting into the habit of getting up early for when school starts. Either way, I'm very excited for the announcement. I don't know why but I feel as though there is going to be something extra other than a coaster. At least I am hoping there is

How funny would it be if we didn't get a coaster. We are all expecting one but no one actually truly knows what it will be.

I was hoping it would be 7am or something. I don't start school til next week.

S&S 4D Freefly. But I am not buying in that it will be the 10 inversion, 220 ft tall model. As much as I hope it is I just don't see it. I also expect something else to go by the Lakefront, maybe a flat ride or two and some food stands. As I just stated I also hope a new addition to HH happens but I am not really confident in that.
