This must be the reason that the slides next to the kiddie section at HH were closed on Sunday.

Really hoping they surprise us and give us a new slide in HH. In the future, (talking about by 2020 or something), i think they need a plan to combine HH and the regular park. Not sure if that could ever happen because of how far away they are but I guess in 5-10 year after major expansions to the park it is always possible. If I ran the park I would try to make that happen eventually.

Yeah same. I wasn't too fond of the idea when it first surfaced but I do think it would be a great addition to add to the park. It would make our coaster lineup even more diverse than it is now. I think if that is what we get it would definitely inch us closer to having the best coaster lineup in the world.

Bizarro is blue and purple so yes we have a blue coaster. But I think for a coaster by the lake it should be wither teal/light blue with gray supports. Red and orange sounds gross. Although we did all complain about GL being green since we already had KK but I think that worked out pretty nicely.

My school doesn't go back until after Labor Day. Although I do know a lot of schools go back on Wednesday or thursday this week so I don't wouldn't think it would be that busy. The heat may also scare some people away as well.

I went to HH yesterday, and the slides next to the kiddle section (Boreas, Eurus, Zephyrus and Nortus) were closed. Anyone know why? Could it be because they were understaffed or is there an issue with them?

Sound like it is going to be a really good deal. Hopefully this will convince my mom to buy season passes again next year (she told me she wasn't going to). But if it is really cheap I could just buy it myself.

Decided to go to the park today for a few hours. Was only my second trip this year (way lower than usual) Got to the park at 1030 and it wasn't busy at all, and there was no cars backed up to get in. When I first got there Kingda Ka/Zumanjaro were closed so we headed to El Toro with no wait and we got to ride twice. We wanted to go on Bizarro but it was closed and I don't think it ever opened when I was there. We then went on the Log Flume with no wait. Next we wanted to take the sky ride but when we walked up they said they were closing it due to high winds. We saw KK start running so we went over there and there was only about a 5 minute wait. However, Zumanjaro was still closed. We then went over to Nitro which had a line all the way to the 60 minute sign (my guess is everyone went to that side of the park first since a lot of the left side was closed when the park opened). The line went much slower than usual because they were taking long to dispatch trains. Almost every time all 3 trains would be waiting at the station. Not sure why they were taking so long today. Also 3 people walked passed us in line and we said something to them about how they were cutting and they replied "no were not we were here before". I mean just because you were there before doesn't mean it's still your spot. 1 person going ahead I am fine with but 3 is annoying. It was 1pm so we decided to go home since it was very hot when the sun was out plus I had a headache. Green Lantern and Superman both had really long lines that looked to be around an hour. Ride count: El Toro 2x Nitro 1x Log Flume 1x Kingda Ka 1x

Why isn't blackbeard's a kiddle coaster? It is to me.

A tour through the lake? That's even less realistic than the hotels. I mean who would want to go through a lake with nothing to see but trees and maybe a couple good views of the park? It seems like it would be a waste of money to me. Obviously isn't happening.

Also, does anyone know how much money the park generally makes in a season?

I like this "no real clues or hints" this year. In 2013 we knew Zumanjaro would be announced cause the drop tower pieces were on site, in 2014 we almost 100% knew that we would be getting El Diablo before the announcement. It's a nice change right now that we still don't know what it is going to be, or even where it is going to be, only educated guesses.

Like they would really listen to us. The GP would certainly freak out and love the addition whether the coaster enthusiasts did or didn't. If plans change I would think there would be more of a reason than because a few people complained.

That's the same questions I was wondering. At Cedar Point when I stayed in the hotel it was right outside the park so it was quick and easy to get in but you had your own separate lot to park in. That's how it should be for here (if they get one).

I think next year Hurricane Harbor needs a new attraction. Last one was in 2013 so it would be make sense for next year to add something new. Personally I would hope for a drop box slide (whether it be added to the falls like what was suppose to happen a few years ago or an all new slide, either one I would be happy with).

A 4D free spin is a cool concept, but really doesn't seem like my kind of coaster. I go on rides for speed, airtime, drops, and such. I don't really think it seems interesting to flip randomly on a zig zag track. Honestly it would probably be one of my last choices for a coaster type for the park to get. Of course, I have never been on one so I can't really speak for myself on whether I actually like it or not.

It can't be a borderline clone. It either is or it isn't, and it isn't. Kingda Ka has the same kind of layout, but it is taller, faster, and has a hill after the drop. Definition of clone: a person or thing regarded as identical to another OR a computer designed to simulate exactly the operation of another, typically more expensive, model.

I think the boardwalk seems really cool with all the stands/gamed that could be decorated with lights

There was a rumor that they were supposedly going to build a coaster that goes over the lake but that was only discussed I guess and never actually became a big possibility.

They need a drop box slide. Remember they were going to install them on The Falls but instead they got that joke-of-a-slide King Cobra. A lot of water parks are installing them the past few years so I think it's time HH joined them

What they should have done is never change Medusa to Bizarro. When they moved Chang to here instead of calling it Green Lantern they would name it Bizarro so it would be Superman and Bizarro right next to each other.

Oh most definitely. I love knowing things before others too and watching them guess. But I still find it hard to not just blurt it out.

Yeah last year was at the very end of August I believe. It's only a few days later this year.
