  1. Basically the entire width of the path in front of the drink/pretzel stand that's just beyond the portal...
  2. But heaven forbid Kristin Siebeneicher admit to it... From the Asbury Park Press: Frankly, it's better to be up-front and say "For guest safety, we're rebuilding a bridge that may have been structurally compromised," rather than creating a cover-up... While perusing their facebook page, I found the following info buried as response #119 of 122... info that could have, if included in the press release (or even just as a FB post of its own), prevented the mob I saw at guest relations: I miss Angel.
  3. Stay on topic - FRIGHT FEST 2011.
  4. This is a spotlight that really drives home just how magical the park's original entrance area must have been; the interior shots really encapsulate the magical vision of Warner LeRoy...
  5. The twenty-sixth isn't over yet This storm isn't even here yet, and it's already kicking our butts! Our apologies for the delay...
  6. Per the park's homepage, Great Adventure will be closed Saturday and Sunday, August 27th and 28th
  7. Going forward, if you should want to change your name, contact a moderator. Thank you.
  8. They didn't; TDK sits on the former site of Movietown Water Effect.
  9. Please do not create more than one account. I see your old account (Scout) was Last Active: Yesterday, 09:30 PM - what was your reason for creating another one?
  10. Information is shared as it comes in, provided we have permission...
  11. ...and that's why I said, "Well there goes my answer;" the initial question only said, "ride."
  12. Pics can be found over in the Fright Fest 2011 thread.
  13. Should we be thinking smaller and more recent?
  14. I think they still had the skeletons wearing clown wigs when I went last year...
  15. Especially the ones in the Western section.... It doesn't help that, for over a decade, they've spent every day of their existence outdoors UNCOVERED (not even a tarp) in the fantastic extremes of New Jersey weather... and in 2006 the park received a complaint that they were too crucifix-like and, rather than just angle the cross-arms at 45-degree angles, they just cut them off. Before: After:
  16. I've received word that the teaser display is up in the outer mall!
