Today's trip was a very good one, especially with the unexpected notice of the Fall Bonus Days event. I didn't arrive until around 1 because the Rt. 537 exit on Interstate 195 was closed.
First was Green Lantern, with a station wait. This is the first time riding it since June. I rode the second row with only a one train wait. Many employees from the Runaway Mine Train and Bizarro were at the station working there instead.
Superman was next with a I'd say 10 minute wait. Shawn (Gasmspiritblue) was on the speaker when I was there. I rode row 2.
Twister was next. I was able to sit in the exact seat I sat in when I first rode the Twister in June. I really liked the sound effects the operator was making.
I headed over to Nitro which had a bottom of stairs wait. Only trains B ans C were running. This is the first time I rode the front row of Nitro. What sucked, well a trio of three riders with Exit Passes hopped on the front row of train C, the better of the two running trains. Which meant we got the rough train B. Apparently, the three riders that stashed the front row weren't handicap or disabled.
Then I waited for Namtab. Yes, it's still running backwards. Ugh for me. It was about a half hour wait, but the wait was just one of the worst I waited in. There were a gang of twelve or so kids about 10 to 15 years old. One of the kids had a Dallas Cowboys hat on. A girl in the group was picking on him for the hat the whole queue. I have to admit, they acted like a typical rowdy group that visits in the summer or fall.
So then we got on Namtab in row 3 (6 if forward). The kids in the group I suffered waiting with would end up having to ride with us. Eventually, the ride supervisor made them animals to wait for the next train as the row 2 (7) is for Exit Passes. Flash Pass wasn't available today. Again, Namtab gave me a headache. Bottom line, you can be a Cowboys fan if you want, but just be prepared to get some hate comments by Jets, Giants, and Eagles fans if in New Jersey.
The Dark Knight Coaster had no preshow playing, thank God. The line was up to the pre show room, so about 5 to 15 minutes. I'd say that The Dark Knight Coaster is better than Green Lantern and Namtab, but Superman: Ultimate Flight is a hair better than The Dark Knight Coaster.
The last ride of the day was the Super Roundup. It was only a one cycle wait.
I left the park afterward, but I made a stop at the Jackson Outlet Center two miles away. It isn't that bad of an outlet mall, but I don't like that it looks like a giant strip mall than an open air mall.
That ends the trip. What I found was that many food stands were closed, and like Dorney Park, there were no enterance attendants. I think this happened due to understaffing with many workers being college students attending their classes. Also, the Interstate 195 exits reopened when I went to the outlet mall. My next trip will be one of the first weekends in December.
