Well that's because some of the Cedar Fair parks ask you to buy a locker to ride rides. Kings Dominion actually has NO lockers on the dry side, so you don't have to spend an extra $10 on lockers throughout the day.
I'm going on Friday to ride Nitro, Green Lantern, and Namtab. I havent been on Nitro since August and I only rode Namtab once. Green Lantern: damn I haven't been on it since June.
SFNE has 4 workers checking the seats in the station?
If all Six Flags parks do minimal staffing, then that possibly corporate policy. If I can remember from my last Disney trip, I've seen Magic Kingdom's Space Mountain have one ride checker checking an entire train, but that's because they're inline bobsled trains. Others may average between two to four ride checkers, but they're fast in operations and lack the visual scanning.
I'm also visiting the park tomorrow for visit 18.
All coasters except for Blackbeard and Road Runner Railway have four two ride checkers, one dispatcher, and one enterance attendant. I don't know if this is a policy to have four workers for a ride, but I think Six Flags doesn't hire two extra workers to operate a ride that has the normal staffing for a roller coaster.
With only two thirds of the park open during HITP, I think Bizarro, RMT, El Diablo, SORA, and Tango should be oopen for HITP. I don't know for El Toro, and no way for Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro to open.
I'd say we have a mediocre Fright Fest compared to the other SF parks' FF events. Also, why in the hell would the Disney Parks not have a scary Halloween event? It makes their event garbage.
