I was bored, so I went to Six Flags Great Adventure for 4 hours.
As I entered the park, the traffic for Route 537 east was jammed beyond the entrance road to the park. Well it's Black Friday and the Jackson Outlets are two miles from the park. The park had average crowds today.
The first ride of the day was Skull Mountain. I was in a ride rides for credit mode today. The line was about 15 minutes (Up to the emergency exit). I rode in the second row of Train A.
Next was Nitro, which had a 15 minute wait too. Again, they were running two trains because of winter maintenance. I rode in row 5 Train B.
Batman was running forward, but they were running one train, so the wait was about 45 minutes. I headed over to The Dark Knight Coaster. It had a walk on wait as it broke down a few minutes ago. The ride gone wrong as it didn't break when I rode. I'd rather get stuck on the top of Nitro and have to walk down the steps (Train 5).
I haven't been on the Sky Screamer since May. Today was a nice day to go, not too cold, and 65 degrees. The wait was about 5 cycles. While waiting, the ride ops yelled at some dumbos with their phones out. This happened in three out of five cycles I waited.
Afterward, I hitched a spin on the Fantasy Fling. I call this round up ride whatever I want, instead of Swashbuckler. I did a fake pass out trick on the ride while spinning.
It was then dark, cold, crowded looking. The last area I checked was the Boardwalk area. I pretty much didn't need to see the lights as I saw all the pictures of Holiday in the Park on this site. The last ride I rode was the Green Lantern. Both Superman: Ultimate Flight and Green Lantern were running one train. It is the post/off season. The wait was down the steps: about 20 minutes. I rode in row 3, Z train.
That ends this brief trip. I expect to renew my season pass during Spring Break. Some notable changes I found besides the HitP decorations was that Namtab is gone - good, the employee uniforms changed from blue to red - uhh, they look like Cedar Fair uniforms, but that's their only option as supervisors wear forest green. In my opinion, HitP is better than Hersheypark's Candy Lane event, even though I never been to Hersheypark before.
