I just thought about this again and I would like to have the Batman and Robin logo from the support tower under the Batman "top hat" inversion.

I thought about it and pictured that "old Spanish" style building/paint job of that area.

I never played it but I knew it was in the park somewhere.

Next to the exit line of Rolling Thunder.

Going to the park with a whole lot of friends. At least 10-15 people.

The Log Flume at night is awesome on a hot night.

Nitro in the back seats in the dark.

The Big Wheel at night at the top seeing all the lights.

The Sky Ride coming from Skull Mountain looking over the park during the day.

The Sky ride coming from Runaway Train at night.

The smell of Johnny Rockets burgers cooking away as you stand in line waiting to sink you teeth into one.

Seeing Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and friends by the fountain when you first come in the park.

The elephants tossing dirt on each other in a playful manner in the safari.

The ostrich that tried to eat my friends camera through the window even though the window was closed.

There are so many good things I think about when I am driving down to GAdv and when I get there, so many more thing happen and the list grows and grows.

I miss the 1985 era of the park. So many great rides. We need a lot of those flats back or at least updated versions.

I have heard people say it was the same ride but I am under the belief that it was 2 different rides.

There were a few of those Jumbo Jets floating around the world during that time so I really don't think the Kaufman ride is the one that was at GAdv.

The one at GAdv is rumored to have operated at Morey's Piers in Wildwood NJ.

I cannot find any other information confirming or denying the ride being the Kaufman owned ride.

The loss of Super Teepee is sad. It was an icon and should be replaced ASAP.

The park is not only losing rides but now iconic structures. What's next the fort, Best Of The West, Yum-Yum Palace?

What about keeping it in a "wild west" theme and calling it Stampede?

Or make it like a stage coach gone wild type theme?

There is so much they could do if they just used a little imagination.

I agree. It's the top of Skull Mountain.

I liked this ride a lot and I like the spotlight. Great job again.

And I too hope the ride opens for next season and many more after.

Matterhorn?

I am not sure of what would be my most disappointing ride.

I guess it would be safe to say that I was not overly impressed with Dark Knight. It's just a wild mouse in a building. Not worth all the hype and that long wait in line to me.

I'd rather go to Funtown Pier in Seaside Heights and ride Mighty Mouse. That is a great little wild mouse ride.

Just my opinion.

I am keeping faith and hope that the changes generate more riders for the seasons to come.

I honestly cannot wait to see how it turns out. I wish it were May 15th tomorrow.

Yeah. We got 4 inches here in northern Jersey and it's only getting worse.

I hate the winter. I wanna ride roler coasters and other rides all year round.

Cool video. I never saw it operating at GAdv. I might have ridden it. It looks kinda fun.

BTW, once again, great spotlight. You really do a wonderful job with the pics and the history of the ride.

Could it be the top of Best Of The West?

I caught part of it the other day. I was surprised also that no discounts from Pathmark, McDonald's or Wendy's were available like they usually have.

And now that you mention it, it was a very vague, non-park specific ad.

I'm a tall guy and the restraints for the legs are very uncomfortable. Hanging in that position climbing the lift is painful for me and the ride isn't that thrilling.

I personally would like to have Viper back and I'm not kidding. Viper was rough but at least it was thrilling.

Superman is a good concept but I don't think they pulled it off well at all. In my opinion.
