  1. How longs one cycle?

Let's talk more important stuff....Marker in Harbor. Anyone care what that is for...I do!

6 minutes according to the SOP.

and I don't care about the Harbor honestly,I hate water parks, there too dirty and just don't find water slides as fun as Coasters.

  2. Last chance to catch the Saturday Night Lights fireworks extravaganza! Bring the family out to be amazed by a perfectly synchronized display of pyro combustions set to rock music, Saturday, September 26 at 10 p.m.

Looks like they added one final showing on the 26th,I better get out to watch it for my first time!

  3. MY counter Arguing statments

!.I bet we could have got atleast 6 flat rides for the 7.5 mil and kept our movietown water effect wich would have way more thrills and im quite sure most would have rather MTWE that then a chessy carnival ride coaster for kids

2.BTR is comming up on 18 years old and its a very common suspended coaster thats just taking up space in the park to fill the area,It will be removed and a new coaster will sit there and where the BSA is, 2 things the park can do with out, the old batman theme is very 90's and is played way out!

    3. Ill bet you will see GASM in the park for atleast another ten years before the pull it out due to age

    :Z12:

-There was something wrong with MTWE so it would of taken money to fix it..But still TDK is a solid addition,it has done it's job, bringing in families and the "tweens" Shapiro is trying to draw in.

-Even though Batman is having it's sweet 16 this year,it still has alot of rider ship and it's Six Flags, anything with a Batman theme is okay to them.Plus Batman doesn't break down to often,so why remove it when it still draws lines and rarely goes down.

    -And we will see :arabia:

  4. GASM is never going to leave GA, its a park staple just like Rolling Thunder. If anything would go it would be BTR its old and not popular, I would love to get rid of our newest turd the dark night, what a waste of 9 mil!!!!!

1.GASM out of any coaster in the park, will be the first to go.

2.Batman:The Ride is really popular still, has had long lines almost all year.

3.TDK was worth the 7.5 Million and it's not a "turd" you would be suprised how many kids like it.

  5. So I can budgett ahead of time, how much do the scare zones and some of the shows cost?

Scarezones are free, you just walk through regular sections of the park (I.E boardwalk is transformed into Circus Psycho) but with props and scarectors there.

Trails are 5 each (Demented Forrest, and Escape From The Asylum)

    Shows are free.

  6. Press Release from Kings Dominion. http://www.intimidator305.com/

Intimidator 305 will be the Biggest, Baddest and Meanest on the East CoastDoswell, VA. (Aug. 20, 2009) – The most exciting ride in Kings Dominion's 35-year history will debut in the spring of 2010, as the amusement park introduces a mammoth 5,100-foot long steel Giga-coaster. Intimidator 305 takes its name from one of stock car racing's most beloved and tenacious drivers, Dale Earnhardt, "the Intimidator™" along with the height of the coaster's lift hill, 305 feet.

Intimidator 305, only the second Giga-coaster ever built in North America, will be the tallest and fastest roller coaster of its type on the East Coast. The lift hill will stand a towering 305 feet at its highest peak; descend 300 feet at an 85 degree-angle and thunder along the track at speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour during its three minute race to the finish. The trains, fashioned after Dale Earnhardt's signature black car, will roar through six airtime humps plus three high-speed turns and the experience will have guests screaming for another lap around the track.

"Intimidator 305 will break records as the single largest capital investment in the history of Kings Dominion," said Pat Jones, Kings Dominion's vice president and general manager. "The numbers speak for themselves, at a cost of $25 million, a lift hill and first drop close to the height of the park's landmark Eiffel Tower; you'll have to see it to believe it." Intimidator 305 will be located in the park's Congo section and becomes Kings Dominion's 15th world-class roller coaster.

Dale Earnhardt, Inc. will partner with Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, owner of Kings Dominion, to bring the massive coaster to life. "We're excited to see this new roller coaster celebrate the speed and intensity of the legendary career of Dale Earnhardt," said Jeff Steiner, executive vice president and general manager of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. "There are millions of fans that still honor their racing hero and this is a very real way for them to connect with the spirit and passion of the Intimidator™."

Guests will have the opportunity to see the ride being built from the ground up during the remainder of the park's 2009 season, as well as follow its progress by watching the online webcam, set up to overlook the entire work site. Those who cannot wait until 2010 may take a virtual ride on Intimidator 305, access exclusive updates, features, virtual renderings, ride statistics, and more at www.intimidator305.com.

Intamin AG of Wollerau, Switzerland, a recognized industry leader in roller coaster development, designed Intimidator 305. The ride is scheduled to open in the spring of 2010.

Kings Dominion is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, a publicly traded partnership that is listed for trading on The New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "FUN." In addition to Kings Dominion, Cedar Fair owns and operates ten other amusement parks, six waterparks, one indoor waterpark resort, and five hotels. Cedar Fair also operates the Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park in Gilroy, Calif. under a management contract.

The ride looks eh to me,I heard MF was overrated and then this ride is alot shorter in ride length.Drop looks good just rather than that it looks like it won't have that much air,and plus the over the shoulder restraints will kill it and make it rough-ish.I think the name is horrible and one of the most uncreative names for a coaster ever lol.Good job CF! Hopefully Carrowinds B&M will have a better layout.

  7. That's easy. Hands down Cables. More specifically Western Cables, and even more specifically "A" side. By far the best ride to work in the park especially if you have a great crew like the '95 and '96 night crew.

Oh.My.God. Don't even mess around like that lol,I don't know one person who likes Cables, including me.
