GAdv's not keeping the parade... Only SFM and SFGAm are...

I had heard that the ride wasn't entirely themed after the movie. After what GAdv posted to Facebook today: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=501...652.69421318512 I assume its going to be themed after this series of the comic...

I don't think its like that. I know when new management came in they let the parks be more independent on how they ran things. I think they gave them the choice to bring it back or not based on how good it ran at the park + many other factors. By not running the parade the parks get to save money.

Parallax! Green Lantern villain in the movie. In the DC Universe yellow = fear, green = honesty, bravery, loyalty. Awesome idea to whoever thought of this. I think the theming will work great on GL.

Disney did it after SFOT, which they made it popular. GAcoaster said hinted that the park was also closed.

I can't stand how people keep saying this. Mr. Six is staying. He just won't be relied on heavily like the old management did. You'll still see him around the park, but you won't see him in ads except for cameo's. You also won't see any rides themed after him anymore. Also GAm confirmed that their GITP parade is staying. Rolling Thunder didn't have overbanked turns in the first place, but Texas Giant did. Who knows maybe Rocky Mountain could pull it off. I think they could do an excellent job on Cyclone at SFNE.

Why would Six Flags care about making it easier for the buyer though? I think since its not a Six Flags branded park, they thought it should be ran its own way, with its own characters and things...

Isn't Musik Express a wreck anyways. I wouldn't count on that coming back, plus its for sale.

I used to have a ball at the water park at GAdv when I visited when I was littler. But now that I'm older it is kind of boring. The picture GAcoaster showed, of the octo-racer (I don't think its the product name) is perfect for both GAdv and SFNE's water parks. It has great capacity and it truely is fun. I went on the one at Aquatica a ton. The right side of HH is a little scarce in thrilling slides, so this racer could go over there.

^Thats not actually a looping waterslide. White Water West makes the looping slides. Thats actually part of what GAm is getting next year!

If anything, its drawing more people to ride it. Like Yoshi said, its unique for the area. GL will also be unique. People on Facebook are saying, "You stand up? Whattttt?"
