  1. You could take that one step farther and add expensive vending machines in the queue. (not sure if its been done before.)
  2. Because that too would cost money.
  3. And Papa Johns, and Tony Hawk! Oh and the Mr. Six themed areas at SFMM and SFNE. I imagine Terminator will also be renamed. TDK is also a possibility.
  4. I don't know.... Maybe it was changed that quickly? A Spring Break opening would bring in more revenue and it is possible. SF just loves taking they're time. Or some things like theming could have gotten scrapped and they'll do without them opening sooner, but I hope thats not the case. I had heard it was getting some excellent theming.
  5. ^They said on Facebook they're expecting a Spring Break opening.
  6. Magic Mountain's is Green Lantern: First Flight now I believe.
  7. I've seen the plans. Its going to have awesome theming!
  8. Thats a win win and I have a feeling thats the reason they're doing it. Half the comments on Facebook are people complaining about the lockers. Well since its Fright Fest they're all complaining about Fright Fest, but in the summer I mean. I would definitely buy my own cup. I'm not the only one who does this, but we usually buy one and share the risband. When we want a drink we'd have the person who got the drink, drink it all, then the another person would go and get a drink. For rides we would just stash it away in the arcades. But definitely if they got rid of the lockers we'd all buy our own cups.
  9. If he told you he would get in trouble. I also don't think the GITPP will return.
  10. The only game I can think of that teens play is the 3 Point Shoot out, they're attracted to the cheap jerseys not knowing they're cheap when they see them hanging. I also see a lot of teens playing the guitar hero game. But know that I'm thinking about it, we do spend some money on arcade games when we're waiting for the flash pass to buzz.
  11. But I thought families had all the money. I'm a teen, honestly, I spend absolutely no money in the park. I buy a season pass. I use all the season pass coupons I can. I get a Flash Pass, about the only money I spend. Then we leave to go get food, as most teens do that didn't get dropped off. Families are the ones who play games. Families are the ones who eat in the park. Banishing all the kiddie rides/kiddie sections at SFMM to one section of the park is a bad idea IMO. If a group goes with several different age groups and they want to stay together, its going to be impossible to please everyone. Thats my take on it. I do think/hope SFMM can pull it off again and not turn trashy, but GAdv needs there flats and I think GAm should still be the one focusing on families while still getting thrills. They are the most rounded SF Park. SFNE is like a mini version of it. Then SF should sell off they're dead weight. I think its a good sign about who didnt receive cap ex in 2011 about who SF doesn't care about. TGE is a kiddie park, and if what you're saying is true, and I believe it, it doesn't fit what Premier did best. And SFA, poor SFA...
  12. When you ride the coaster or see pictures of it.
  13. ^While I do agree with that 100%, I just hope they do not let the other parks get run down like Burke let them did. Like I said before, I'm perfectly happy with SFNE, my home park, getting the mouse this year, but I don't want to the new management ruin what Shapiro did. I also don't want to see SFMM get its bad name again.
  14. Honestly, how many people that ride GL west will ride GL east or even know it exists. Same on GL east, most people won't know GL west exists. I don't think MM needs this Zacspin. It should have gone to a park that deserves more. SFA anyone?

    ^Missing Shapiro?
  16. And good thing the fire dept. and SFNE are on the same road and is literally two minutes apart. Station 2 is literally 10 minutes away... There's some pictures of the aftermath here, its not that bad and they're repainting the facade. The building itself got no damage. http://sfneonline.org/forum/viewtopic.php?...&p=346#p346 If this was at GAdv I could see a different outcome considering the nearest fire dept. is 25 minutes away. Al Weber you reconsidering?
  17. They aren't new. They were always there, just broken. Glad they fixed them.
  18. Going out on a limb... but as for Amusement Today SFFT has always been voted best for years. With all the price cuts wouldn't surprise me if SF didn't, you know, bid on a spot for FT to win. Explains why SF was barely mentioned. Its pretty well known that the GTA are rigged...
  19. If they do do some musicals, they should cleverly do some product placement to get money from it. I know some parks put on a show called Show Stoppin' its a pretty good show, maybe GAdv will get it next year?
  20. Like what warnerleroy said, its just GAdv. I'd listen to what GAcoaster just said. He know's what he's talking about, or you can be headstrong and not believe it. But SFFT and GAm put on some phenonimal shows. GAdv's market isn't shows because like GAcoaster said, you have Broadway in your backyard. GAdv's market is thrills and coasters with families mixed in, not that many people who are going to GAdv are looking to sit down and watch a show, and same goes for MM. But at SFFT and GAm shows are successful because the parks are isolated and they can put on some good performances. That's my take on it.
