Maybe Family Oasis is coming sooner than we think and they decided not to spend money on theming that they will probably get rid of in a few years? I hope thats the reason and not that they decided to skip the theming

Great Photos! I really wonder what they're doing with that circle shaped thing outside of GASM's old entrance(kinda looks like a fountain or maybe the foundation for a statue) and whats happening underneath the lift. I guess we'll find out soon!

So Family Oasis would basically be like Kings Island's Planet Snoopy, where all the kids rides are in one giant section?

I've been having the same issue

They both have their + and - . SkyScreamer: A starflyer is scarier as the chains for the ride are able to twist and turn, and at high altitudes. But the chains are also their downfall. starflyers can't run in a wide range of winds and weather, which is bad for parks and their publicity. If guests show up on a windy day and the new ride isn't open, they get mad. Windseeker: The mechanical arms are great for parks as they allow the ride to operate in more conditions. But, they also don't allow for any movement, which just makes the ride a slightly tilted carousel in the air, which makes it a boring ride, and also bad publicity for the park as a bad new ride is terrible for the park's credibility when it comes to advertising new attractions

And we can't have both because of what reason?

Remember though, corperate has said many times that they is aware of park strengths/weaknesses. Its clear that the new management wants flats, heck, the Gadv facebook admin even said that they wanted flats too. Now, as I said before, the new management has said that there will be new additions every year, like shows, rides, etc., and I think in a few years the park will be well rounded with tons of family and thrill seeker rides You also have to remember that the word "GO" is going to be thrown around like Shapiro did with "more"(ex. for fright fest, they said "More Fright, More Fun"). I think we'll see commercials like "Go Family, Go Six Flags", etc.

Al Weber has been pulling through on his promises. Cutback wasteful spending, new ads that advertise THAT park, but the most exciting thats to come in the future is that he said new attractions every year, not neccesarily ride, but new attractions

Its really a great commercial. Its great to see this new advertising philosophy(show what is at the park you are advertising) in action! I really like how they are showing almost ALL of what the complex offers(minus HH), with the theme park(not only showing coasters, but water rides, and 1-2 flats in the flag part of the commercial) along with the safari! Its awesome to see them get away from the shapiro idea of ads(flag-o-meter, park b-roll, more flags more fun tag line)

I really don't think that almost $400 million dollars for 1 amusement park in 5 years is really realistic
