GAcoaster
Maybe we should pool all our money for the auction...start our own Great Adventure Museum with artifacts. I'll donate the Skyride car.
CycloneMan
And maybe it could actually happen...unlike the ACE Museum, ooh burn! -Dainan "Seriously, it's a good idea" Rafferty
GAcoaster
Maybe we could buy that abandoned house on Route 537 to house the museum...

GAcoaster
I think we'd outgrow the space quickly. How about this...
29yrswithaGApass
I think we'd outgrow the space quickly. How about this... I was afraid that might not be ready for us just yet as they complete the finishing touches on its extensive refurbishment to make it look "74-new"! Up_Up_and_Away
In the spirit of the park, I say we have a museum with brightly painted columns of various colors, and incorporate movement into our design. We need a Museum-Go-Round.
29yrswithaGApass
We need a Museum-Go-Round. Just like Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood! Lady Elaine Fairchild was scary!!!! Boy did we go off topic with all this...... we really set a fine example!
GAcoaster
And boomerang, toomerang, zoomerang...we're back on topic. I'm sending off the registration form between Christmas and New Year.
Great Adventurer
Sorry, I'm not very educated... When are the auctions being held, and where? (A museum is a great idea by the way!) Now, back on topic, I guess. *Sprays on-topic spray*
29yrswithaGApass
When are the auctions being held, and where? Sometimes parks and organizations donate items which are auctioned off throughout the day at the EastCoaster event. The winning bidder chooses how they want their money allocate (ACE preservation fund, museum fund, etc).
GAcoaster
And it's usually REALLY unique and cool stuff! Like coaster parts, signs, etc... You know, it's funny we were talking about a museum. Apparently Six Flags Magic Mountain is thinking about actually doing this, with an exhibit of park history memorabilia on the deck of the sky tower. Great Adventurer
Cool, I'd really like to go! Maybe I'll be able to... I already got a Chiller part, I reached through the fence to get it as Chiller was being taken down I'd like to see some of the other things up for auction, but of course, I'm not made of :smile$: Edit: But I'm not a member... I guess I can't go then... I didn't look closely at the rules before Perhaps I might register if I still can.
