The Six Flags site is starting to post information on their upcoming Holiday celebrations and it appears they have a sponsor - Chase. That may be good news in helping drive festivities more towards a nationwide celebration in the years to come.

Here's a sampling of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's entertainment lineup:

Now that they have a sponsor, maybe the chances will be better we'll see this in 2009 at GA. Those sponsor dollars can a long way to making the decisions as to which parks get something like this. ;)

Advertisers want to reach the largest number of people they can, and since GA is in the BIGGEST market in the nation, it would make sense.

I suppose it is that time of year again for us to egin hoping and praying for those new things we would like to see. I have a feeling this is going to be a good off season for that kinda stuff. I think the thing that amazes me is that the HITP is being sponsored by a company whose industry is right smack in the middle of the mess we find ourselves in today. Not saying Chase is a bad sponsor by any means, but with the current financial climate it is just ironic to me.

It would be harder for GAdv to have an Holiday event due to the much cooler weather we have than Texas or CA. Now Hershey is able to pull it off since they have alot of flat and indoor rides, but roller coasters can't operate very well during cold weather. Problem for GAdv is they are lacking alot of flats now but it still would be nice if GAdv could have something.
