29yrswithaGApass
Souuce: myCentralJersey.com Turnpike backed up 14 miles through Middlesex County By LEO D. ROMMEL • Staff Writer • August 7, 2009 MIDDLESEX COUNTY — People eager to get to Six Flags Great Adventure has caused an approximate 14-mile backup on the inner and outer southbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike, officials said. The reported backup is from Exit 9 in East Brunswick to about Exit 7A in Robbinsville, an official at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority said. Exit 7A is a common exit people use to get to Jackson, where the popular theme park is located, the official said. The highway tightens from six lanes to five lanes to three lanes in a 3-mile stretch just south of exit 8A, the official said. No accidents have been reported, the official said. GAcoaster
It looks like the park has been VERY crowded for the past week or two!
southview2
It has, I know that HH has had its busiest days the last 2 weeks. With last Saturday being our busiest, the last count for that day was near 11,000.

Yoshi
I sometimes run into a little traffic driving the other way from 6 - 7A (and it usually looks like it goes past 7A so it isn't because of the park). 14 miles backed up to the exit on a weekday?! I can't imagine what the park is going to look like tomorrow and the rest of the summer Saturday's.
The Master
That's why I take back roads south of GAdv to get there.
Great Adventurer
Wow, the East Brunswick exit is the one I use. I couldn't see waiting in that!
rcji
It's good for Six Flags. Hopefully business is picking up for them after the Q2 loss they had.
