GAcoaster
I know that on Sunday they were starting to install the fiberglass so by this weekend they should be pretty far along.

pashacar
I'm also quite surprised and somewhat disappointed at the slide's placement. The inside of the funnel would have been a great vista from the road driving into the park, and would do a far better job promoting the ride than the splashdown side will. I'm confused as to why the park would choose to orient the ride like this.

The Master
I wonder if the tornado's landing pool will have the rockwalls like the other landing pools and the river?

pashacar
It looks like the queue will pass by the large opening of the funnel, which is great for watching the ride. I'm glad to see this, and surprised, since it's not how SF has built their Tornados in the past.
gafreak
i thought it was odd that the splash pool for the tornado faces the steet, thought it would have faced the interior of the park
GAcoaster
But, half the fun of the Tornado is watching the boats, so the faced the funnel into the park for better viewing. If it faced out it would cause traffic problems.

Thunderbolt
But, half the fun of the Tornado is watching the boats, so the faced the funnel into the park for better viewing. If it faced out it would cause traffic problems. Yeah, the "Tornado" has been known to blow off roofs and bikini tops I hear. People watch the funnel for pairs of F-5s. Unfortunately, cameras provide little shelter for storms of that magnitude. All puns intended.
The Master
Does this Tornadeo have the two person whirly wheel rafts besides the four person rafts? SFA's tornadeo has both and Hershey's only has the two person rafts.
GAcoaster
We only saw the 4 person cloverleaf style rafts.
