GAcoaster
From the park's Facebook: Relieved to report that we are doing fine. All rides and animals are ok and there was no flooding. The offices will be closed most likely to Thursday, so we appreciate your patience. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the storm. Also, like with Irene, JCP&L is using the parking lot as it's mobile command center for all of central New Jersey.
GAcoaster
The piers of Seaside seem to have sustained a LOT of damage:
GAcoaster
Another one from Funtown... While it looks OK, you see the frame of the wheel is tilting.

OCMDBeach1
It's amazing what the force of Sandy did to so many different things. The iconic boardwalk in Atlantic City was destroyed, at least parts of it. My beloved Ocean City, MD's fishing pier lost 50 yards but the boardwalk is fine. 8 million people were without power, my family was without power for 27 hours (I'm in the beautiful suburbs of Philly) as well. Thankfully not too many lives were lost in the storm (even thought just one is one too many) but my thoughts & prayers are with the family & friends who did lose loved ones. I'm thankful that Six Flags was spared & the animals of the Safari are ok. Now is going to be a time of rebuilding for those directly impacted by the loss of their homes and or loved ones. batmanrobinchiller
I'm still out of power, possiblly till next week. I'm horrified at the events that transpired. I hope everybody affected by this storm makes a full recovery!
The Master
I lost a Skeleton and a ghost windsock to Sandy. Didn't lose power or damage to my house which I am thankful for. Edited October 31, 2012 by The Master
Andrew M
its so sad the casino pier lost its dark ride, indoor scrambler, coaster, and log flume and others.... it really hurts seeing that part of my childhood and summer were just washed away. Coasterharrison'98
I'm surprised they didn't do any thing to majorly protect the rides at fun town! This has six flags new Orleans all over it!
ThemeParkRider
This is a real shame. I loved going here, I hope my favorite attractions return. Edited November 1, 2012 by ThemeParkRider
ericthewanderer
I live near SFA,and all we got was alot of rain and some gusting winds.I just went on rcdb.com and they've already got Casino's Star Jet and all of Funtown's coasters listed as destroyed by the hurricane. So sad...I've been making "side trips" to the Jersey Shore&Seaside Heights for over 12 years now,and now alot of it is gone.Any chance they're going to rebuild any of it? ThemeParkRider
I think Casino Pier will be rebuilt. Last I heard Funtown is still in debate.

gafreak
just emerged from the dark ages after a very long seven days here in morgan (sayreville), im not 100% sure where in sayreville harry lives or if he has power. Both of the sub stations that feed sayreville and south amboy were submerged, parts of dayreville were washed away along with south amboy. its very diffrent to have a severe disater right in your back yard. my girlfriend has a house in the highlands, aka sandy hook, luckily it was built in 89 and the first floor is the garage, we spent the day yesterday gutting it, the mayor of highlands lives around the cornner from here and he lost is house and is living in the shelter at the elementary school in town,, with all that said, ive seen 100s of other states come to the rescue, people helping other people, her town is on the disaster area list but rebuilding has begun, the town next door of sea bright no longer exists, its been a long week and even though ive gotten used to not having power, im happy some things are back to normal, as soon as i can upload pic to the computer of some of the marinas ill post them this is the water line in highlands about 100 yards away from the water...
