MarioSonic94
Since Edir Eht Namtab was a big hit for SFGAm and Repiv will make its debut at said park next week, I was wondering if GADV would ever turn one of their coasters in reverse for a said period of time. If such a thing were to happen next year, here's how I'd like to see the park pull it off. Coasters I'd like to see reveresed: Batman, Nitro, and Skull Mountain. And just like GAm, they should do it all in one season, but in certain intervals. Namtab would be available during the slower spring season (Opening day-Memorial Day) Ortin would debut sometime after the official start of summer (late June-Labor Day) And finally, Niatnuom Lluks would be a Fright Fest exclusive. But rather than simply turning the trains backwards, there would also be fog effects and extra strobes added in the main ride to enhance disorientation and unpredictability. Which coasters would you like to see reversed at Great Adventure?
RideOfSteel
Skull Mountain and Batman... But not Nitro.
Yoshi
Just Rolling Thunder, I'd like to see one side run backwards and the other run forwards. I don't really like going backwards on coasters (I can handle Everest and boomerangs but wouldn't want to ride a full circuit reverse coaster that often). 29yrswithaGApass
If Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train was reversed it would be a nice little change for kids and families.

ThemeParkRider
The Dark Knight Coaster would be pretty interesting in reverse.
jdc12192
SF St Louis announced their sky screamer will be running backwards after 6pm for every night of fright fest. Wonder if our park would do that.
SFGadv123
I was also thinking that when I saw it ^
Coasterharrison'98
Id prefer to see king da ka in reverse
RC98
Kingda Ka in reverse would be a very thrilling ride. I also think Skull Mountain backwards would be fun, going backwards in the dark would add a bit more thrill to what is already an enjoyable coaster. SFGadv123
Imagine The Dark Knight backwards, going around the turns would be a cool experience.
RC98
While I don't doubt that TDK in reverse would be fun, I think that its layout is rather predictable, even in the dark, because it is a typical wild mouse coaster, which would somewhat take away from the thrill of going in reverse. However, Skull Mountain's layout is much less predictable in the dark, which would make it more thrilling to go backwards on it. This is just my opinion though. GA Rolling Thunder
I don't know I would said Rolling Thunder But out of the stupid ideas it has closed and will leave the park, most likely forever. Runaway Mine train,
Mrpq
Id prefer to see king da ka in reverse Have fun trying to hold your head up during the launch lmao. Nitro would be wild if reveresed. I would deff go for that. El toro would be bat s*** crazy if reversed
Password121
^ El Toro was exactly the one I was thinking of as I read through this. Imagine diving 76 degrees backwards and reverse head choppers! Then again, it's hard to ask more out of El Toro- everything about that ride is incredible. gasmspiritblue
That would be epic, i cant even imagine it. I think i'd be alittle nervous to even ride it
RC98
Wow El Toro backwards? That would be interesting- imagine going over the "Rolling Thunder hill" backwards! And the first drop and the high banked turns at the end! It takes a lot for me to say this but that actually might be too much for me. I would still try it once though, it would probably be fun! CoasterPrince
Although it isn't a coaster, Skyscreamer seems like it would be a lot of fun backwards.
jdc12192
^I just saw today SFDK is running their sky screamer backwards for limited time. Maybe the idea will catch on and make its way to other parks.
29yrswithaGApass
I was trying to find video of that on YouTube. Did Six Flags St Louis ever make that change for Fright Fest like they had planned last year?
jdc12192
^ Im pretty sure they did but couldn't find a video either. However i did find this vine of SFDK https://vine.co/v/Mb6ArHPzQhD Edited March 14, 2014 by jdc12192
29yrswithaGApass
I'd like to see them do a mixed cycle - spin forward going up and backwards going down.
Mrpq
I think riding it backwards would be awsome. riding it going forward you barley get to look around. going backwards you could keep focus on an area you want to look at longer
Yoshi
Maybe they could flip some of the seats around like the swing ride at Nickelodeon Universe that way you have a choice of if you want to ride forwards or backwards.
robertleax
I like the idea of any rides with every other seat reversed. Seeing the person/friend/daughter/son/WIFE in front of you making certain expressions during a ride would be alot of fun to see. Stinger at Dorney Park does that (even though not a great ride) it was facing other people in front of you that made the ride alittle better. I know it wont be done but just image having one of the KK trains redesigned to have seats facing each other...
