CablesEric
1982 - Joustabout or Is this a trick question and the Roaring Rapids are considered the "Major New Attraction" because they added some geysers in the '81-'82 off season and was already running the season before? 29yrswithaGApass
Not a trick! You are correct it was the Joust-a-bout in 1982.

darkridedan
Grr. I was going to say that good things are worth waiting for. Joust-a-Bout was that good tho. But it is a small ride. I'm glad it wasn't Roaring Rapids! Imagine riding that in March.
29yrswithaGApass
QUESTION #42: For a couple of years GA actually had an in-park greenhouse where guests could buy ferns and other houseplants as souvenirs. What was the name of the shop and where was it located?
J4Sing
I vaguely remember a place selling Bonsai trees and stuff. Was it in one of the 4 tents?
29yrswithaGApass
Nope. The greenhouse was actually a walk-in greenhouse building seperate from any other structure.

darkridedan
Wasn't it near the Woodland Gardens, before the Great Lake Grand Stand was built? I can't think of a name tho.
29yrswithaGApass
This was a hard one. The name of the shop was Schultz's Green House and it was located near the Flying Wave ride at the approximate site of Jersey Shore Candies. Schultz was the official plant food of Six Flags.
