ANSWER: False. The Route 537 overpass was erected during the day so those lights were not needed there. However, they were used at night when the park was being built.

ANSWER: As one of the largest structures in the park, the construction crews had to work into the night to get the Fort assembled for opening day. Even though they worked so hard to get the Fort complete, it was not ready on opening day. The structure and the surrounding "Rootin' Tootin' Rip Roarin'" section opened about a week later.

The Dream Street entrance was shut down before the Fort entrance was, so that all cars would end up at the Dream Street Station.

I think they closed the ride at both stations but ran the cars so they all came into the Dream St. side where they were taken off and put in the holding areas.

ANSWER: The Skyride was stopped while there were still empty cars on the cables. The park use to stay open until midnight and would reopen when the fireworks were over and all the shells extinquished.

I wish the park stayed open til midnight again, there were never anylines for rides that late, and GA at night is a much better time. The lights on all the rides really are cool, especially way back when the park had everything lit up!
