Please introduce yourself and let us know what you do/did at the park. Welcome to the forums
Thrill-Pics
Hey! If anybody here knows Angel Aristone, tell her I said hi!
BuddyChrist
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but oh well. I'm working at Guest Relations this summer so I'll be sure to try and make everyone leave the park with a smile!

BuddyChrist
Thanks! I'm also going to help with VIP tours because of my knowledge of the park, I owe some of that knowledge to you guys! So Thank you!
GAcoaster
Maybe we should start a "Ask Guest Relations" Thread now... Like I want to know what the official policy is on food discounts with the SF Mastercard? I always thought it was the big 3 restaurants gave a discount, but Granny's & Character Cafe look at me like I have 2 heads when I ask about it. Then at Best of the West, they sometimes give a % off, and sometimes it's a $ amount. There's no consistent policy on that...what's the deal? JetsDevs4Lyf
Lol yes begin our own little private guest services segment here. Though I think BuddyChrist might begin to like some of us less if that were to happen And a belated congratulations on the VIP placement and the Guest Relations job! I'm not exactly sure what the policies are for the SF Mastercard, my advice is to call the GR office (732-928-2000 ext 2838) and usually there is someone there that will know what to do for your situation (I know, typical "just call us" but trust me, we do pick up the phone!). I may not know, but I'll try and find out! I'm not totally opposed to a GR thread, but give me more time to learn everything :-P ^Nah, I love my job, its great to help people with things about the park! Thanks! Guest warnerleroy
Does anybody know what the wardrobe department is mainly used for, because almost all uniforms are the same. Is it used to make mascot costumes? Edited August 30, 2008 by warnerleroy
GAcoaster
The Wardrobe Department is mainly storage for old uniforms at this point, and for issuing new uniforms. The seamstresses generally do not make the costumes for the park.
Up_Up_and_Away
It's also used to house & repair the character costumes, show costumes, Fright Fest costumes, etc., as well as housing of old costumes & uniforms that may not be used currently but could be used in the future, either as-is or modified... Railer
^ The park has been looking for a Glow In The Park Parade seamstress all season. The Job has been listed for awhile now. It is sort of related.
Guest warnerleroy
Anybody have pictures, and if I walked in, is there a chance I 'd see character costumes from the 1980's?
GAcoaster
No, there are no pictures since it's a backstage area. Character costumes from the 80's are long gone, but parts of the earliest costumes are still in the possession of the Shows Department. Guest warnerleroy
Thanks and wow! I knew our park was protective of the backstage areas, but I never thought it'd be like Disney where you can't take any pictures. It does better preserve the idea of Bugs Bunny being real though.
