Press Release about Quick Queue:

Jun. 24th, 2008 -- WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Starting this Friday, Busch Gardens invites guests to the front of the line with its exclusive “Quick Queue” ticket, offering priority-entry privileges to the European themed park’s major rides and attractions including the popular “Griffon” roller coaster.

For an additional $24.95 on the day of their visit—season pass holders pay $19.95—guests get one-time, priority-boarding access on Griffon, Alpengiest, Apollo’s Chariot, Big Bad Wolf, Loch Ness Monster, Curse of DarKastle, Roman Rapids, Log Flume and Corkscrew Hill. The “Quick Queue” ticket can only be purchased at the park’s admissions window. Limited numbers of tickets will be available each day.

This is awesome! They do the same thing for Howl-O-Scream and it's great!

That sounds pretty pretty good. In line with the Flash pass we have. Did they say whether this was actually going to be a ticket ticket or if it is some sort of electronic ticket system or whatnot. I'm just curious as to which way they are going with it whethere it's going to be a ore of Disney system of a Q-bot system.

If we manage to get our planned trip together during the off-season (ie a bit colder lol) I would absolutely pay the extra money to get on the rides since we would likely only be in the park one day as well. It really is a good deal for people like us who can't go often.

If they do it like they did for Howl-O-Scream, it's a ticket book with one ticket for front of the line on each of the attractions.

It is the same set-up as Howl-O-Scream, although there wasn't any need for tickets this past weekend. The park was fairly empty, maybe because it was 100+ degrees. :Heatmizer:
