Great Adventurer Posted December 7, 2023 Report Share Posted December 7, 2023 I'm generally in agreement with all of the wishes expressed on the Great ADVENTure calendars, but this one has particular emphasis. When my friends and I were younger and our parents drove us to the park, they would often stick around and enjoy the shows that were on offer while we went on rides. We didn't live particularly close by, so it was really nice that there were so many shows to help pass the time. Frost being absent from Holiday in the Park this year makes this issue that much more pronounced. Now, with my own kids, it helps to have something to do with my 4 year old… a change of pace for him and me while his sisters ride the bigger stuff. He really enjoyed the reindeer workout one at HITP. I wish they’d do more! In my mom’s basement, I can probably still dig out several VHS tapes with me in the Dennis the Menace Screen Test!
