GAcoaster
The Golden Kingdom was spectacular when it opened, and now is quite sad and underused.
GAcoaster
Note-- The actual calendar will get this updated later today (I had an issue with my connection this morning) The Golden Kingdom was AMAZING when it opened, and it's really sad to see how it's just been decimated and let get run down over time. It's time for a rehabilitation or replacement instead of just letting the space sit under utilized.
Yoshi
Seeing the Golden Kingdom when it was new compared to what it looked like on my later trips to the park was disappointed. In terms of theming and atmosphere it was easily my favorite section. I thought it was good enough to be in an Orlando park.
GAcoaster
Much of the theming for Golden Kingdom was done by the same designers that did a lot of work for Islands of Adventure and the Busch/SeaWorld parks in their prime. It really showed... I know several people who were Great Adventure regulars who visited Busch Gardens Tampa and their reaction was "This is exactly what Great Adventure should be with the animals and rides all together".
Coaster Justin
I would've added the Safari Off Road to Golden Kingdom instead of Frontier Adventures but that's me. Some flats or even animal exhibits would be cool.

After reading that, I can definitely see the similarities. A section like Egypt at BGT does feel like it has the same level of theming as Golden Kingdom. I like how BGT has animals all over and walking from ride to ride I can stop and see the animals for a few minutes just like when I used to walk from Golden Kingdom to Plaza Del Carnaval. harry2004
I like to see golden kingdom be restored back to its former glory, maybe make a african village area in the old safari expedition area where they can move the safari off road adventure entrance too (which can act as the back entrance to the park), maybe move air jumbo, bugaloo & rajas rickshaws back to the old jungleland space
ericthewanderer
Is there any chance of the tiger shows coming back?I loved that experience.
