With the new safari, can we expect safari discoveries to return next season? Also does anyone know what the 3rd big announcement is supposed to be?

That's true, if we never got those 27 rides at once we would probably still have el sembrero, and many classic rides running.

I think a 10 flat ride package would ice the cake, similar to SFOT 2005 addition, exept more rides our park needs like a new himilaya, tilt a whirl, swings, enterprise, a looping flat...etc

The suspense is killing me!!! Less then 24 hours:)!! I hope we get some sort of stunt show.

The premium pass sounds awesome! I want to check out Sfne, Sfa and Great escape so this will definately be a great value.

That's good then, I can see attendance going up alot for the theme park as it will be a nice thing to do during your trip.

With the money spent on this safari upgrade and making a part of the theme park wouldn't surprise me of they jack up admission and passes after promotion is over.

I'm surprised they havnt used old country for fright fest before, put some skeletons inside the old ride buildings and make it a haunted ghost town (open it at 6 pm with all other attractions).

With this safari upgrade we are getting, I would love to see them squeeze the water slides into the safari kids/Ltsp area and bring back adventure rivers! Transform Congo into a lazy river and add a wave pool where the Congo pool is cleaning up some defunct ride parts in the maintenance area. Transform former waterpark into a camp ground and reopen balins jungle land. Replace the airplanes in Bbnp with taz tornado, add safari kids planes between adventur alleys bus and fender benders, and put a zamperla kite flyer where air jumbo is. In frontier adventures put a classic swing ride in teepees old spot and call it frontier wave. Some kid rides could even go into lakefront and give it a little overhaul. RRR and the 3 Ltsp rides can go Into movie town where evolution was origionally supposed to go and call it Looney tunes movie town which will increase popularity in that area. Oh the potential and possibilties this park has.

The park is making a good choice for the animals benefits because at least employees can Supervise those A holes and refrain from bringing food on the tour. I hope this safari makeover is just the beginning with more to come for the whole property... Unfortunately times have changed and people are more ignorant these days.

As much as I love our coaster collection, I wish I was able to experience the atmosphere of the 70'S and 80's of great adventure, a bunch of entertainment and flat rides, trees everywhere...it was a whole different park back then.

People's response to Facebook in understandable because we don't know exactly what the parks planning to do, however they clearly state the animals are being taken care of which means they are not going anywhere.

This should turn out to be a success, my friend has a 2012 nissan maxima and refuses to drive through the safari. This investment may very well benefit the safari and overall attendance. Now when are they going to relocate hurricane harbors slides and give us adventure rivers back? Lol wishfull thinking on my behalf. I'm excited for the parks future!

Or worse, people having to be Rushed to hospital for going on coasters while under the influence of these club drugs. This seems like it'll be an interesting event.

When I went to the water park this year it was the WORST experience I ever had at any waterpark. The whole new flash pass system is a complete disaster and it's ridiculous that they don't provide enough tubes for anything! We got flash pass gold and we ended up waiting 25 min. On the family raft slide only two levels down from where you board. With more tubes the lines can be eliminated by half. It was practically pointless toget flash pass for 25$ if we just rented a tube for 5$. I just hope that with this safari makeover they don't Condense everything unless they leave room to Put in perhaps a Giga along the perimeter to save on tree removel. If what everyone is saying is true this might put Great Adventure on the map again since Ka and El Toro and we can possibly see that hotel much soon then we thought.

I couldn't agree more with acq10uaz, despite we lost the tiger show we got Green Lantern, Slingshot (reliable unlike eruption) as well as flats.. Much better then a mouse in a box with a airplane ride and loss of 10+ rides. I think John is doing an excellent job and has very good things in store for our park.

According to screamscape perhaps we can expect a new waterslide with the rumored safari upgrade? This would be a good addition especially with how king cobra turned out.

I hate myself that I missed Pat Benater! I would have been the people in the crowd standing in front of the stage like a crazy fan! LOL

If they're going to transform the safari, I hope they invest a good chunk of change into this. I remember when the golden kingdom first opened up the themeing and landscaping was AMAZING! If the safari is going to be anything similar, then they have a winner on their hands.

Its funny how now the metal detectors are located prior to the entrance gate. Those gates look so much nicer then the ones we have today.

I was there today and the ride looks huge in person despite that it only takes half of evolutions old pad. Can't wait for this one to open.

I'll be going back to Cali As soon as funds and vacation days permit me too. it was amazing, magic mountain is definately a must visit, along with Disney and knotts!

Im so happy to see that chiller will be getting a new home. Imagine if they made the ride with a "reverse blast"! I would love to experience both sides reversed!!
