Dorney Park has the same restriction. Steel force and Dominator are exactly 200'. The height is measured from the ground the ride is built on. This is how the Hershey Tower even though its 9 feet shorter in height than Skyrush gives the feeling the tower is taller.

Thanks! It's good that they do allow them because I expected the strict security the park has to deny them. I saw one person bring one at Six Flags New England and me and some of my friends were able to bring their portable chargers to Hersheypark as security there is minimal.

Are portable phone charging devices allowed to be brought in the park? My phone constantly crashes each time I use it uncharged for 5 minutes.

Hopefully it's a coaster of some sorts that is larger than the one they have. As long as its a family style one and not a kiddie coaster.

The state allowed the grandfathering of the Hershey's Kissing Tower and Kennywood's former drop tower, both of which are over 200' in height because they were built before the restriction was added. It just sucks that PA would make a law like that as Hersheypark wouldn't really be able to add a decent Star Flyer like ride which could round out their flat ride collection.

Usually they're pretty fast and can dispatch a train when the previous reaches the brakes but when they try to fit a larger rider in, this can significantly delay operations.

But then there will be a height limit of 200'.

I'm one of those people too. They shouldn't remove Green Lantern because it was added not too long ago and usually has an average wait time of 30 minutes on a normal day.

This is the kind of reason why the popularity of Dragon Challenge declined. The hassle of being forced to pay for a locker discouraged some that were just too lazy to do so. The policy also seems to have reduced the lines for El Toro but not so much on Kingda Ka. Last year El Toro would sometimes get an hour wait during the week but nowadays, the line never gets longer than 15 minutes during the week; the longest line I've seen for El Toro this season was 35 minutes.

I'm guessing Cyborg Cyber Spin will be built where the Autobahn building is at. Hopefully this reopens the Old Country section.

That made me a bit nervous the first time I went as they get similar attendance levels to Great Adventure but at least the clientele that usually visits isn't the kind that acts trash.

I understand why the Intamins don't run during Christmas Candylane but why doesn't Great Bear run during the event if it's a B&M? Great Adventure can run all five of theirs even though they close Bizarro.

Six Flags America is only a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from where I'm from but it might be a half hour longer from your area. There's Playland's Castaway Cove in Ocean City however the Gale Force coaster costs $14 to ride which is way overpriced. Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach is a smaller boardwalk park with nothing very major, kind of like Gillian's Wonderland Pier also in Ocean City. Luna Park, the park in Coney Island is also within 2 hours of the Mt. Holly area but the park is in a bad area of the city. My mom's car was almost broken in there when she lived in NYC and crime there is pretty high.

It's good that Flying Turns runs all their trains as it helps with its low capacity. If Flying Turns can run all their trains, then Impulse should too.

The biggest problem about Skyrush in the front row is that the line for it is always to the bottom of the stairs and it barely moves which is why I prefer the back. I also never understand why Comet always seem to have an hour or more wait while at the same time Skyrush and Great Bear can have a half hour wait and SooperDooperLooper plus the other three wooden coasters having walk ons. I'm guessing it has to do with the location and operations of the rides.

I like that Knoebels has fast dispatches and minimal restraints factor in it but they should probably run 2 trains on their coasters to shorten the wait a bit. The only problem is that they may have to slow down their operations a bit if they do. The park's cheaper than normal pricing also makes me want to go there next season even though they don't do discount wristbands unlike Morey's Piers or Casino Pier.

From my past visits to Six Flags America, I never had too many problems regarding the guests and employees. I know that operations suck but I found most employees to be nice even though they look bored and not taking their job too seriously; I never seen one curse or wish to go home but I caught one at Roar say that Mind Eraser, the park's painful SLC is his favorite coaster which ticked me off a bit. I think the reason why the guests are well behaved is because most guests who visit are families and sometimes the guests actually behave better than the employees. I never visited during Fright Fest, I can guarantee the crowds will be sketchy as unsupervised teens are the normal crowd for that time of year. There was a huge fight by Apocalypse three years ago during their Fright Fest opening night. The coaster lineup is still mediocre and I think an RMC Raptor coaster could help the park as long as it's not a clone of Wonder Woman or Railblazer. I also think The Wild One and Apocalypse should receive the ACE Coaster Landmark for their historical significance and impact. Landscaping and theming are mediocre, Gotham City might need a retheme while Mardi Gras and Main Street are decently done. I actually think SFA's Main Street looks nicer than Great Adventure's.

I just hope that when they close the rides for maintenance they do it between November and March excluding late December where crowd levels are lower. It would be bad on a crowded day in the summer for the guests to see one or two major coasters down for annual maintenance.

The only problem I have with the daily operations is staffing but they can easily solve that by hiring foreign exchange students. I don't think the park will have too many problems of light crowds warranting an early closure. If Knott's can stay open daily during the off season without many problems, then Magic Mountain can too; both parks are the most visited Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks respectively.

Also, Morey's allows dispatching riders while another one is halfway down rather than wait for them to leave the landing pool. This is a major factor in why they have good water park operations. Sadly, Morey's dry ride operations tend to be similar to Dorney's especially in the afternoon.

^I believe Rolling Thunder was removed because of low ridership and the ride wasn't maintained very well.

I'd probably go with HQ as well but I don't really want it removed as it'll hurt the ride collection for younger guests/families. To be honest, the park doesn't really have any coasters that are worthy of removal right now.

61, my 50th was Wicked Cyclone which was my first RMC.

There's a lot of PA plates in MD no matter what part of the state you're in, kind of like Southern New Jersey. When my mom used to live in NYC, gangs and criminals would attempt to break in cars at Coney Island that have NJ plates. I feel that if break in attempts are done based on license plate, it's probably done from states the area would consider wealthier than theirs even though MD is the wealthiest state in America. The DC area is also arguably the wealthiest metropolitan area in the nation. The park's location despite being in a wealthy outer beltway neighborhood in Prince George's County is only about 5-10 miles from the rougher areas of DC and inner beltway Metrorail suburbs. Prince George's County has a significant amount of crime especially homicides but that mostly happens inside the beltway leaving the outer beltway communities to be pretty safe.
