  1. Even though I never been to either, I say Seaside Heights because of Casino Pier. Casino Pier or Playland's Castaway Cove?
  2. It's a barrel roll in the subway scene.
  3. On a screen, one of the scenes towards the end shows the vehicle you're on doing a loop. As it's a virtual loop, you don't go upside down but it does feel like you are.
  4. Foo Fighters (I listen to them more but Nirvana is still one of the best bands of the 90s) Matchbox Twenty or Third Eye Blind?
  5. Rode it twice today, got around 89,000 first time and over 90,000 the second time.
  6. Chuck E Cheese Baltimore or Washington DC?
  7. I haven't seen a lot of places in my area offer Hersheypark coupons. I believe the last time I've seen Hersheypark coupons being sold was at a Wendy's but I don't remember when they sold it. The Wendy's locations in my area often sell discount tickets to Great Adventure and Clementon Park. The Wendy's in Deptford used to sell discounts to Dorney Park and Kings Dominon but the last time I went to that location, they sold expired Great Adventure tickets. That Wendy's location is also poorly run despite having a Freestyle machine.
  8. The Pine Drive light immediately after the exit can cause some traffic on 195. The merging traffic from the Turnpike to 195 in Robbinsville also causes traffic but from the Turnpike to exit 16, traffic moves at a decent pace. They already have construction workers starting widening work near the Coxs Corner exit on 195. Also I wonder why the AC Expressway wasn't widened from 2 lanes per direction to 3 between Hammonton and Route 42 in Washington Twp. Maybe it has to do with environmental concerns in Winslow or budget limits. But it's kind of unusual as the highway was widened to three per direction in Atlantic County between the GSP and Route 73 while the Route 42 freeway has 3 to 5 lanes per direction leaving the part in between with only 2 per direction.
  9. Hersheypark is about 2 1/2 hours from Great Adventure. It's also 2 to 2 1/2 hours from Six Flags America and a little over an hour from Dorney. As Hershey is located in the Harrisburg/Carlisle area and not within an hour of competing parks, many season pass holders for Hersheypark especially the locals don't live close to warrant the need to have season passes to other parks.
  10. NJDOT is starting a project to widen I-195 from 2 lanes in each direction to 3 between I-295/Route 29 in Hamilton and Exit 16. Hopefully this can alleviate congestion from the Turnpike and the park.
  11. I'd say not more than $150. The pass when compared to Six Flags and Cedar Fair is a bit too expensive for what you get in my opinion.
  12. It happens a few times a year, most notably during Columbus Day Weekend and the last weekend of Fright Fest. On bring a friend free days and other days crowds are high, traffic usually gets backed up to Tommy's Inn which is halfway between the Wawa and the park sign. The worst traffic getting to the park was when The Marshall Tucker Band had a concert in 1981. Traffic was backed up to the NJ Turnpike and the park reached beyond capacity crowds. That was also before Route 537 was widened to from one to 2 lanes in each direction.
  13. I'd say it depends on how the lines are for the two when I go. Whatever ride has a shorter line for a longer time will end up being my 50th which could most likely be Superman.
  14. Which one should be my 50th: Wicked Cyclone, my first RMC, or Superman?
  15. I'm now at 47. My 50th will either be Superman the Ride/Bizarro or Wicked Cyclone.
  16. There has been a significant increase in population along the I-476 corridor; sometimes population increases in suburban areas can lead to rowdy people moving. Dorney Park also attracts people from the Allentown and Scranton areas, both of which, especially Scranton, are areas where the population are a bit on the rougher side.
  17. That's the problem with Cedar Fair. They neglect their smaller parks except for Great America and Knott's and only focus on their larger parks especially Cedar Point.
  18. When I went, the employees were really nice but they were slow doing things. They used to been rude and rough but that was before Jim Reid Anderson became CEO. Guests were nice and not all were rowdy the last time I went. Yes, I know SFA is near some of the more dangerous inner beltway suburbs of DC such as Hyattsville and New Carrollton but the park itself is located outside the beltway in a wealthy community called Woodmore which is one of the wealthiest places in PG County and the state of Maryland.
  19. I heard that Steel Force was running only one train earlier this week with slow operations. Does Talon and Hydra run only one train during the week?
  20. There will but it's supposed to possibly rain on Saturday. I don't like him either but I'll give him some slack for liking the Washington Wizards (I'm a Wizards fan.).
  21. It's smaller than Great Adventure however they do have a water park included.
  22. Journey Green Day or The Offspring?
