  1. It's still there. It's called the Kingdom Coaster or formerly known as Sky Princess.
  2. I have heard of Burlington City/Township being on the rough side lately. It's fate is kind of similar to Bridgeton and Lindenwold with more rowdy people moving in what were decent neighborhoods. The gang fight was likely related to a group called Bloods. Ever since the fight happened, most stores left the mall.
  3. I believe every SF park does it. Six Flags America also does it too.
  4. The problem is that the track weaves around itself a lot that it would be a bit challenging to find an exit. Another option could be to increase the speed of the launch by a few miles per hour. Poltergeist at Fiesta Texas is the exact same ride however the launch is a bit faster which makes the chance of stalling less likely.
  5. http://www.fox5dc.com/news/local-news/248441128-story This is not the first time The Joker's Jinx stalled as it stalled at the exact same spot in 2014 and it was the yellow train that stuck again too. It just so also happens, I'm going to visit Six Flags America tomorrow so I'll end up giving updates on what happened.
  6. If I remember, it is to help the lifeguards practice safety drills and to clean the water.
  7. I never get why they kick everyone out of the pool every hour. It makes crowd problems worse.
  8. The Voorhees Town Center has the same problem as the Burlington Mall as the former is not off major roads. The closest major road from the VTC is Route 30 a mile away in Somerdale. I don't really understand why the Burlington Mall declined as it is the only mall in northern Burlington County and off the NJ Turnpike and I-295. About 10 years ago, the Echelon Mall became the Voorhees Town Center by demolishing the JC Penney half of the mall and replaced it with apartments and a few restaurants but still having vacancy problems.
  9. It'll be a hotel with a small casino. From what I remember, Glenn Straub, the new owner of Ten, is planning on building as water park on the property as well.
  10. Bart Blatstien actually bought the Showboat shortly after Stockton sold it and reopened the hotel last summer. The Revel has been renamed to Ten Atlantic City and is planned to open this summer.
  11. Hopefully it opens later this week.
  12. Yes, that's the only thing they ask guests. When I was there yesterday , most guests actually followed the rules even though they had some poor behavior.
  13. They do force guests to buy lockers however I saw like three guests sneak their phone into the line for Kingda Ka. I believe today was the first day the checkpoints are enforced.
  14. There are now security checkpoints at the entrance of El Toro and Kingda Ka. Phones and keys are prohibited from being brought into their queue lines.
  15. This Saturday I went to Great Adventure for the first time for 2017. It was pretty cold when I first arrived but the weather warmed up later on. The park wasn't very crowded typical for an early spring trip. I didn't arrive until noon. I started off at Nitro which had a 10-15 minute wait. I was expecting the line to be about a half hour and only two trains running as it was the only outdoor coaster operating when I arrived but they were running all three with 45-70 second dispatches. I waited for the back row which had the shortest line. After lunch I went to Bizarro and rode it twice (Rows 1 and 7). It was my first time riding it since September. It was a walk on wait with the operators timing dispatches in order to prevent stacking from occurring often. This was the fastest I've seen dispatches on Bizarro and I'm glad they are putting time limits on the operations. They should do it at Six Flags America too. Then I headed over to the Runaway Mine Train where it was a station wait. My first time riding it since May of last year and my first time in the front in over two years. I do not enjoy the Mine Train at all and this could end up being my only ride on it this year. El Toro was next with a 10 minute wait. The most significant improvement that happened was the addition of a security check in order to get in line for both Toro and Kingda Ka similar to most rides at Universal Orlando. Unlike Universal where they prohibit anything from going into the queues, however, the guards only prohibit phones and keys from being taken to the ride here. I rode in the back row, and while it was a good ride, the final section was getting a bit rough sadly. As this new policy is in effect, I used a locker. I went to Kingda Ka which had a 15 minute wait. As always I wait out for the front row. I was going to do it a second time but it broke down as we got in line the second time. Because of this, most riders went to Zumanjaro which had a 5 minute wait. Afterward I went to El Toro again which had a station wait, 15 minutes if for the front row. I went for the second row without waiting at all. During this time period, I used the Safari Discoveries shortcut path three times. Later on I went to Green Lantern in the front row with a 10 minute wait. Then I went to Batman which had no wait for the front. I tried going to Nitro with the intention of riding it two to three more times but it was closed surprisingly. This was the first time seeing Nitro down for any such reason. Finished the day after that but I bought a new Kingda Ka shirt to replace the one I got two years ago. That first shirt is getting small on me. In the end, I had a pretty good day at the park. Superman and The Joker were both closed the whole day. El Toro, Kingda Ka, Green Lantern, and Nitro had down time too at some points therefore I got to see half the coasters closed for a break down today. There were a lot of poor behaved people. When I was on El Toro, a kid about 11 years old was swearing at a buddy of his. About every rider was swearing on Green Lantern. I'm planning on coming back later this month.
  16. It was closed today too. It probably either has to do with windy weather or maintenance delay.
  17. The hotel is called the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Water Park. It's similar to a Great Wolf Lodge park but smaller, more comparable to Co Co Keys in Mt. Laurel. Between Mt. Holly and Jackson, Route 537 is mostly undeveloped with mostly farms and woods lining up the road. I never been on 537 north of the Jackson Premium Outlets but I believe 537 is also significantly undeveloped from the Outlets to the Garden State Parkway. The road primarily has one lane in each direction from Moorestown or Cherry Hill to Great Adventure about a 25-30 mile stretch as well as north of I-195 probably up to the Freehold Raceway Mall.
  18. Sometimes I drive up to the park on 537 northbound from Mt. Holly, but I don't really remember a house with a year round Halloween display. Last time I used 537 was in November.
  19. I remember this one trip in late 2015 where many employees from SFA worked at Great Adventure. I was on a ride and the operator had this rather strong Southern accent which I can assume she is from the DMV area therefore works at SFA.
  20. Doesn't the park hire foreign exchange students to fill in positions during the spring months?
  21. The good news is that I can't go on Thursday. I actually have school next week and the park is closed during our break. I just wish the park announced on their website that the NCSY group will be at the park or even better, have the park rented out one day just for the group. I'm hoping lines are not over a half hour on the major rides.
  22. Is that the NCSY group? Also, does anyone know how crowded the park could get this weekend?
  23. If I do it then hopefully I see the single rider line. I plan on riding most of the rides alone so I get the best possible experience on each ride.
