  1. The ROI is made over several years not just the opening year of the attraction, plus plans like this are in development far in advance. I'm not ruling anything out just yet, I'm looking forward to whatever it is!
  2. My feeling is that clues mean it will be a larger attraction/roller coaster. Also in regards to Dorney Park.. Six Flags is known in the past for doing contentious things. Kingda Ka was 2 years after TTD, Wonder Woman SFFT was announced earlier than other SF parks to be before Railblazer (which is kind of petty). IF Great Adventure got a better dive than Dorney that is a f*ck you to them because they never get new rides lol
  3. Dang, Fiesta Texas and Over Georgia both got the new family coaster in 2023 and now are teasing major additions for 2024.
  4. I only suggested that it'll be Kid Cosmic because it could fit on the plot of land where they are working next to Cyborg. The last two coasters GADV received were bigger versions of what Fiesta Texas first tested out. Now, they have Dr. Diabolical so it's a fair guess that the next coaster for Great Adventure will also be a B&M dive
  5. Great Adventure in recent history has gotten the bigger version of whatever Fiesta Texas previously added, just putting that out there
  6. I still think a dive machine is the way to go, fills an opening in the lineup and Great Adventure has a positive relationship working with B&M. Also that makes sense if it's going to be near the entrance because it's meant to be a spectacle.
  7. The park already has quite a wide selection of kid's coasters in Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train, Skull Mountain, Runaway Mine Train, Dark Knight and Lil' Devil Coaster. I would really prefer Great Adventure to not receive a Skyline Attraction's ride, they are not known for their reliability nor making comfortable rides. Maybe their family coaster endeavor will be different, but let's see Fiesta Texas test it out first.
  8. I agree with your reasoning completely, but the one thing that I can't seem to figure out is why the park hasn't teased anything yet. For Jersey Devil Coaster they had that clue campaign. Maybe I'm overthinking things, or maybe it has to do with new park management? Edit: I may have jumped the gun, Jersey Devil Coaster teaser campaign began on August 12th. There is still time
  9. Could it be another Kid Flash: Cosmic Coaster? I hope not, but that plot of land looks like it could accommodate it. Cyborg seems like it will not be removed which makes me wonder how much space is available for redevelopment.
  10. I really thought they were going to take this opportunity to get the height record back (at least for North America). That makes me quite happy for Kingda Ka.
  11. OK I see your edit - I don't know if can fit anymore. I was just throwing out hopeful conjecture honestly.. with a bit of redevelopment it may be possible but I don't know
  12. The queue can be re-arranged to not wrap around the station in that fashion, and the tangent I drew can be rotated clockwise to optimize further space. Both towers are roughly ~130 m apart
  13. I don't see why not? It doesn't seem like much of a stretch:
  14. I have heard this before and it definitely makes sense, but the park is literally shaped like a uterus with all the major rides at the ends of the fallopian tubes. I have always felt the layout is the weakest part of Great Adventure.
  15. Thank you Tower, I totally agree. To get to one of the "big boys", you have to make the trek all the way to Nitro or Batman, and if you go the other direction, you have to get to the end of the Boardwalk (which is way too far apart). There should be an E-Ticket ride (sorry, Joker) nestled halfway between.
  16. If Old Country really is the new home for this major attraction, it's actually an amazing spot for a new coaster. I have always felt that near the entrance was severely lacking coasters (besides Joker, of course). This helps spread out the park, which is always an improvement..
  17. Something tells me it'll be a new coaster, but I don't know which from the current amalgam of rumors. The markers at the entrance are too much to ignore, so I think the writing might be on the wall already.. not to mention the tentative footprint spans all the way into Old Country. I find it a bit interesting that 2022 and 2023 were both off-years for the park. It wouldn't shock me if a major addition is unveiled in the coming weeks given the backstory, but it definitely has the potential to be one of the biggest announcements of 2024. The Northern Star Arena plot by Medusa would remain untaken.
  18. So the speculation is that those markers at the front of the park are for a ground-up RMC?!

  20. Why was it necessary to have the trains re-painted for 2023, while there are plans to re-paint the track in 2024? This was the same story with Medusa opening without some of the track/catwalks being painted, and the sign still under development. If they are going to close down parts of the park to finish restorations, then at least have them fully completed when it's done. It's sloppy otherwise, IMO.
  21. Nitro is testing with the new blue trains (picture from Reddit)
