GAcoaster
Just an FYI for planning, Eastcoaster is set for February 7 this year. Click for the ACE site with info! Registration has not started yet, but should be posted soon. I'm guessing we'll probably get some new MeDEUCEa details at EC this year

Railer
I am not an ACE member and would like to go if i have the day off (will know on Mon. when I go back to work) Would anyone be willing to let me put them down as a Member so i can go? I am not crazy or anything like that , I know that Members are responsible for their Guests behavior. It would be greatly appreciated and I would love to check out Eastcoaster. Nevermind, I have to work that day, poor me!!! Edited January 19, 2009 by Railer

Yoshi
So sad to see the Laser spot like that, it doesn't even look like it is Dorney with those pictures of just the wooden blocks and snow (without the queue line showing)
GAcoaster
So here is the wrap-up for Eastcoaster today (as I can remember it): ---For GA: Fireworks (award winning firework show) Big Wheel lighting package Medusa makeover The Cyber Cafe will take over the little side shop area next to Carnegie Deli The M-Porium (M&M store) will be on Dream Street New Boardwalk Food Court with sushi, gyros, vegetarian, fresh donuts made on site and other specialty foods A third Coldstone Creamery is being added ---For Dorney: New 603 seat theater with Snoopy on Ice show opening this summer New name for Voodoo (Possessed) New name coming for Little Laser (Naming contest coming) New food options including Cinnabon Haunt will have 13 attractions this year including 8 new ones -New Scare Zones: The Gauntlet and Pirate Passage -New Shows: Ghoul Time Theater & a new show for Center Stage -New Mazes:Backwoods, Death Trap, Asylum, and Psycho Circus Construction on Terminator at SFMM behind schedule due to delays in approval, but expect it to come together quickly since they were still assembling bents while waiting for approvals. Prowler at WOF on schedule. Almost all of the ride will be less than 20' off the ground, with HIGH speeds. Diamondback at KI finished with train on site and should be on track and testing soon. On schedule to open with the park in April. Morey's still hasn't committed to a final design for the new coaster. The project probably won't see the light of day until 2011 or 2012. Possible name for it being tossed around "Wild Woodie". Knoebel's won't be opening Flying Turns for a while longer as they remove a section of track and reconfigure it. Don't expect to see anything happen with the Golden Nugget for the next 2-3 years. The High Speed Thrill Coaster is being replaced with a custom built Miler Family Coaster, which will be much more exciting than the standard Family Coaster design they sell. That was all the "big" stuff I can think of, but Harry and Dainan and Brian can probably add anything I forgot.
Railer
I wish I could of been there. Sorry i missed it. I have ALOT on my plate right now (If Harry filled you in) Who showed up from GA? I wonder which building is being remodeled to the M-Porium? And did they say anything about where this Boardwalk food court is going to be? Or where the third Coldstone is going? Up_Up_and_Away
This sounds great. I wonder which building is being remodeled to the M-Porium? My original hunch had been Jersey Shore Candies, but during the presentation they said it would be on Main Street. I'm guessing it will just take over one of the two existing candy shops on Main Street...
