29yrswithaGApass
I missed last year's opening day because I had to travel for work but this year I will be there.
JetsDevs4Lyf
I have the camera ready for the new look of the park and all of the other fun to be had . Everyone going earlier for an all day trip or later to stay until closing?
29yrswithaGApass
Opening day is usually an all day event as long as the weather is nice. First stop, an early morning Safari run!
JetsDevs4Lyf
^ You read my mind. It's not a complete day without the safari at some point. I would wait and go later in the day with the safari tour bus but then you still need to pay an extra $10 for the convenience of them taking you so it's not worth it. The Master
I probably won't make it on opening day. I should be able to get there in the next day (Sunday).

JetsDevs4Lyf
What's everyone heading for first when they arrive?
29yrswithaGApass
What's everyone heading for first when they arrive? Most likely a grand circle tour of the park to check out all the new and changed stuff. As far as rides we will probably hit the Giant Wheel or Sky Ride first while everyone else is in line for the coasters! As exciting as opening day is, the trip is usually pretty mellow and relaxing. JetsDevs4Lyf
I think a ride on Nitro is just what the doctor ordered at this point and then I'll gradually make my way back accross the park Although since I still need my pass processed I may make it a Superman ride first. Hmm so much to choose from now lol.
CoasterPete
First thing I'll be doing is getting my pass processed. I'd rather stand in a line for a coaster than for my pass. After that, I'll probably head to Rolling Thunder or El Toro. Pete
darkridedan
A first ride on Rolling Thunder and in the rain?! I hope it rains when I go!
GAcoaster
The forecast for tomorrow looks like it's improving, with just a little rain in the morning and then some sun in the afternoon! I'm hoping it's not TOO breezy tomorrow! I want the Skyride to be open!!!
JetsDevs4Lyf
I love the skyride too... but I think I'd be willing to miss it for a day if it meant wiond and not rain

The Master
Looks like I won't be going there at all this weekend, can't go Sat and now it looks like Sunday will be awlful weather now instead of the nice weather they had been saying for a week so I probably won't go Sunday either. Weather forecasters, why do I bother listen to them? Edited April 5, 2008 by The Master
