29yrswithaGApass
I won this sign in 2008 at ACE's Eastcoaster event. It was on the Big Wheel during Six Flags' 45th Anniversary. Maybe the park wants it back for GA's 45th!

29yrswithaGApass
This is probably the earliest picture of the Giant Wheel at Great Adventure that we will ever find!
GAcoaster
I assume this is the first of the rehabbed gondolas being reinstalled:
The Master
Hopefully they replaced the floor panels, the diamonds are worn off the the diamond plate flooring in those gondolas.
29yrswithaGApass
If they rehab it like they have done in the past they will take it down to just the legs. With the new lighting system, I would imagine they need to get to the contacts within the hub of the wheel and do an upgrade to the electrical contacts. GAcoaster
Yeah, I was kind of expecting a full take down and rebuild, but I wonder if things are already being scaled back?

GAcoaster
I was assuming these were being reinstalled since the drone video the other day looked like all the gondolas were off. It could be this was taken just before the last ones were removed...
