Yoshi
https://seaworld.com/orlando/roller-coasters/pipeline/ “A first-of-its-kind surf coaster! Feel the awesome power of the ocean in a whole new way on Pipeline, the first-of-its-kind surf coaster. As soon as you’re in position, you’ll know something’s different. Experience the rush of launching 110 feet up and sensing every bank and curve as though you’re really riding the waves, thanks to an inventive harness that keeps you secure while giving you unparalleled freedom of movement. The seventh addition to the Coaster Capital of Orlando leaves nothing but amazement in its wake. Are you ready to get on board?” It’s going to be interesting to see how this coaster rides compared to older B&M standup coasters. I am a little surprised they went with another 54” height requirement coaster considering Mako, Kraken, Manta and Ice Breaker all have that same height requirement. 29yrswithaGApass
I am sure they engineered that bouncing feature but I can’t help but think it “could” be painful.
GAcoaster
I'm hoping it's a fun ride. It will make a visual impact at the front of the park...
MarioSonic94
I love B&M. But a launching stand up coaster? Hard pass.
The Master
I thought B&M disliked building launch coasters?
Yoshi
Here are some pictures I took yesterday of the construction:

I'm with you on that. Every time I've done Green Lantern .... I have to make sure my balls are still intact afterwards

They didn't build launch coasters until launches could be perfected. They built Thunderbrid for Holiday World 7 years ago, and it seems to be running just fine. GAcoaster
Every time we go I'm shocked at how fast this is going up!
Yoshi
Yeah, I was surprised how much track was added in the 6 weeks since my last visit to the park.
Yoshi
Opening in May. I hope they announce annual pass preview dates soon.
GAcoaster
Yeah, I'm looking forward to trying it out. I actually liked most B&M standups I've been on, and I think this will be interesting. I have a one time quick queue they gave us last year, but passholder previews would be great!
GAcoaster
Very excited that they are giving us so many opportunities to ride as passholders (in addition to the single quick queue they issued last year!)
Yoshi
After Serengeti Flyer only had a 2 or 3 days or previews, I was wondering if there were going to be weeks of previews like Ice Breaker and Iron Gwazi had. I'm going to try to get there after the 15th so I can use the SeaWorld Bucks on the same trip.
