  1. Where did you read/hear that the current park president 'hates' adding roller coasters?
  2. That's great to hear, especially since Hurricane Harbor's season is already short as is.
  3. I just feel as though it's not on the top priority of what Hurricane Harbor needs, is all^
  4. Cabanas.. Great, just what Hurricane Harbor needs, more cabanas that not many people use.
  5. They've always opened at 11 on Fright Fest days. Fright Fest starts September 20. They've been doing it for a while i believe.
  6. Honestly, this whole thing wouldn't have been such a huge mess if the guy had not been so loudmouthed about it. Can we please just let this whole thing go.
  7. Just went on Zumanjaro two days ago. Did not see any sign of a memorial for Rolling Thunder..
  8. I don't know; that water wheel is from the play structure in the Golden Kingdom it looks like, so maybe something going in there? Path opening up once again? I doubt it but one can dream..
  9. I have seen people without their shirt on be told to put on a shirt or buy one or leave. Six Flags maintains its dresscode, that's for sure. And i agree with them on this.
  10. I went to Zumanjaro at 10:40 when i got to the park and it was open. Kingda ka was not.
  11. ^Sometimes the mist and fire work, and sometimes they don't. This year i have gone on occasions when they both work, only one works, or none work.
  12. Well there are only so many coasters that are "getting too old to maintain" to get rid of.
  13. I enjoy three main spots at the park: Best of the West, Granny's and Garden State Grill. I will honestly eat anything on their menus (that's included with the Dining Pass). Those are the places i think the food is the best.
  14. I believe the previews go on until the 11th from opening till 12. Then its open to everyone after 12.
  15. How often are you at the Museum Harry? It would honestly be an honor to meet you if i happen to see you there.
  16. Short report on Zumanjaro: -Very long but nicely landscaped queue. Amazing views of both El Toro and Kingda Ka. -Ride did not open until 12:30 ish due to minor technical difficulties, However, while it was closed Kingda Ka was running even while they tested so hopefully this hints that when one ride is down the other can still run. -The standby line goes right next to the old Rolling Thunder track that was kept under El Toro. Maybe it will be a memorial for those in line. -I find the drop to be amazing as well as the views. You can barely see Philly but I'm sure its easier to see at night when its lit up. On Nitro you can see it as well. --Overall, great needed addition to the park in need of a drop tower and flats in general, now lets just add a family coaster like Rolling Thunder and we are good --Also, Nitro seemed to not rattle as much as it has been.
  17. There seems to be rumors of Bizarro leaving every year. In all honesty, i don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.
  18. Trying to figure out what this means THE TEEPEE IS COMING BACK. Wishful thinking.
  19. It's the State of New Jersey's main fault, not Gadv's or Jackson's. Plus, I can see why: Rather be safe than sorry; plus, for first time riders of Kingda Ka, it adds to thrill of not being able to see much in my opinion.
  20. As does New England. They recently totally repainted Thunderbolt.
  21. Now, will the baboon area be open as well? I haven't seen any work done in the Safari Discoveries area as of late..
  22. the same was for me last sunday^ Had zero problems, not even with Flashpass, lines, lazy river tubes, etc. Only problem was the lockers giving us a refund randomly instead of giving us a locker which was worked out right away.
