If you go back to 74 youd find 2 that just show the park and a female voice over at the end saying Great Adventure exit 7A Jackson NJ and Great Adventure even more sepectacluer in the fall. both very simple elegent ones

Agree! the park needs to have one. With so much of our past getting lost. From costumes. to cheracters. shows. all of it! Valid it.. For all.

I find nothing wrong with it. Actullay sometimes they are a big help in getting a adult out of the "I dont do rides".. Now if your going to act like the fool yea please stay away from them. But most parks will let you ride.

Great Adventure back in the Day was. people would travel to visit it. And when all the shows were running it would take 2 days. Im talking the Great Arena, Aquia Spectical, high Dive., Band Stand by the Lake, Americannia Music Hall etc. And in the early years there was often long waits.. Log Flume at time could reach 2 to 3 hour waits.Big wheel both ques filled. Roaring Rapids even longer. But im talking back before season passes abd Flash pass. You went in to the park and waited in line. And Magic til, Midnight. If you bought a full day ticket youd get that evening free after 5pm. .

Agree! Ive always thought more of a cross over between that and The Crystal Room at Tavern on the Green. And Do do wish that would make it over into a full service sit down. the room is there in the back they built enough space for a full service kitchen..

Agree! One the size of White Lighting would be a great addition to the park. Its just fast enough and has some great air time.

Sounds good. I like the idea of "The Polar Express". But Busch has a attraction called "The Polar Express" Its done i the Artic Ecounter and uses the motion simulator for the train. And then empties out at the North Pole and ther kids visit Santa befor his flight. Its very well done.

Sorry havent up dated . It appears the park it self is ok no major dammage. Dreammore's main building is fine and reopened on Friday. But some of the resorts cabins have been destroyed. Dolly is giving a bennfit concert in Nashville with all then money going to park enployees to help aid in their recovery . Shed like to collect enough to be able to give each a $1000.00 a mth.

It a appears the Dollywood is in the direct path of the wildfires. The Dreammore Resort and cabims have been evacuated. Im hoping that with todays rain in the area it will temper the flames. Lets nope that nothing happens to the park and all is safe. Which leads me to belive GA shouold give real thought to reinstating its fire department.

I'm glad to see more decorations park wide and with Dream Street Cable and the Fort decorated. Something tells me, now just a guess, the Cable Cars will be open as a round trip attraction to view the park and lights. As seeing how the cables are used year round all over in ski resorts etc.- hmmmm.
