  1. Didn't the 5th cars on Rolling Thunder's trains go to form one of Judge Roy Screams trains?
  2. That's the motorbike coaster at Toverland right?
  3. Park is extremely crowded today. 90+ minute waits on some of the coasters.
  4. Sorry for the double post but it's actually open tonight!!! After 8 years Flying Turns is open!!!
  5. Cyclone - SFNE (awesome ride btw) http://rcdb.com/180.htm?p=9849
  6. So it seems Flying Turns is actually going to open tomorrow!! I can't wait to go back there... If you haven't been there it's definitely worth the drive. Phoenix and Stratofear are two of the best rides in the world. Go Knoebels!!
  7. I took them in the parking lot of the state park right outside Great Adventure... On the side of the lake.
  8. This is my third time trying to upload, so I'll be brief. I took my 250MM lense to the park and shot away for a couple hours. The sky wasn't too nice, but I still think they turned out well. This will be broken into a couple parts, otherwise the board crashes.
  9. Here's some slightly older pictures (well three weeks)... But, I think they turned out quite well. (2 parts) I only rode Great White (I didn't feel like riding another Boomerang and the SLC wasn't running), but wasn't impressed. It was the smoothest wooden coaster I have ever been on, but it lacked any forces or speed.
  10. http://rcdb.com/3231.htm?p=15713 Voyage - Holiday World
  11. Here's how I would spend my $50 million: -New chair swing ride in the Golden Kingdom between Kingda Ka and Green Lantern -Go-Carts and Dare Devil Dive removed. Giant frisbee and aqua twist added. -New Vekoma dueling coaster (one side sit down without inversions/one side inverted with inversions) between El Toro and Kingda Ka -Dare Devil Dive moved to a new location in the park. This would probably be closer to $75 million though.
  12. I'm hoping to get to Lake Compounce next May to ride Boulder Dash... Then I will have ridden the top three wooden coasters! I don't agree with Bizarro though. It's still a very good ride, but I feel there are far better coasters out there. I could have just ridden it on a bad day though... Just wondering... What is your opinion on Boulder Dash? Was it rough?
  13. I'm not sure if I ever posted this on here... But I really liked the Safari Off Road Adventure. Besides the insane wait, the ride was a lot of fun. It was definitely better then I was expecting, and it is definitely the perfect ride for families. I really like the look of the station and its location. It livened up that area which was previously very quiet. Every time that I have been to the park this season (since SORA opened) the Runaway Mine Train has had far longer lines than I have seen over the past few years. The Cables too. SORA was a great addition to the park!
  14. I'm hoping this tower has stronger airtime then on S&S and some Intamin towers. Imagine the intensity of a Larson/ARM tower 400 feet high... That would be amazing!
  15. The bring a friend for free tickets also added to Saturday's crowds... Along with a free fright fest maze for passholders.
  16. Flight of the Phoenix! http://rcdb.com/3448.htm?p=24157
  17. Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only one on here who has been on it.
  18. You are wrong. Rolling Thunder is still safe. It is being removed to make room for future expansion, and to make room for the drop towers queue. You really should check your facts before you post.
