Wow i did that back in the day myself! I remember freezing my bits off at like 4 am in line for walmart &target . Ugh. Havent done that in a LONG time though, thank god. Cyber Monday is my jam and i dont even leave the house on black friday anymore.

The closest i came to puking on a ride was gd El Diablo. Yeah. Wtf right?! I dont do well with spinning things, and apprarently looping things, either. I could feel the vomit rising up with every passing loop. All i could think was “omg im gonna barf on all these poor people, dear lord please make it stop”. Ive never concentrated so hard at keeping puke at bay, and telling myself mind over matter. The ride did finally stop and i was all jacked up the rest of the day. It ruined me. Batman will also mess me up with dizziness and blurred vision at the end.... but no where near what stupid looping dragon did to me.

Amen. Flying isnt fun anymore in part to the BS airline extra costs, and then you get the seatmate from hell & baggage issues on top?! No thanks. Warm the car up....

Oh i already paid with said link and got that whole, whopping 1$ discount(just wanted to goto park to process to get it over with). Speaking of, i dont like having to get it processed by sept 30. Isnt that like a month sooner than usual?

I was planning on swinging over to the park today too (i live 20mins away) just to process our renewal SP’s before the hoopla of FF starts, but the wather is crap. On/off rain. Im old school and we all still have our pics on our passes, i hope they dont make us get new ones this year. I only say this because it didnt ask if we are current pass holders or show our pass acct numbers when i renewed online like previous years. I do feel like they were pushing those memberships like, super hard. I want no part of them, personally. SP for life !!

I dont understand the whole “passes are too cheap, i want to pay more” argument. You arent going to attract a classier clientel partly because of GA’s location. You have 2 major cities in proximity and that wont change just because you up the ticket price. All it will do is price families WHICH MAKE PARKS NICER right out of the picture. As for crowds, i go when i know its not crowded and have never or will i ever get a flash pass (im only 20mins from the park, so thats kind of a moot point for me anyways). I love GA- but sadly it is NOT maintained like it should be either. They notoriously let rides goto sh$t instead of up keep. Its amazing how far some fresh paint would go for asthetics.... ya know? I do not think the park itself is dirty as ive heard some people say, i find it decently clean? Some of which cannot be said for select patrons (some of the things ive seen, whew!!!!) I do love GA, but its not worth an even higher premium price than DE.

I second this. As you open up more areas of the park, more drink and food places would have to be opened up as well, which would help immensely. The one day we went for HITP, we had to wait a half hour for drink refill and missed our snack completely (we were in a long line when the employee came out and said anyone wanting to use SP dining was out of luck as the time was now up) it was so busy. Kids were mad, i was annoyed as the lines everywhere were redic long. I felt like we were waiting on line for food/drink more than anything else.

Dude they godd@mn ruined Macho Nacho!!!! No soft tacos, no quesadillas, all pork gone... wtf!?! I was so disappointed when we went to Macho today. They ruined literally the best place in the park to eat. I laughed there was 1 person eating there- that was it. And we went past it numerous times (el toro) it was a ghost town. And why did the whole park get rid of pork? the people at Macho told me the whole park got rid of it. I didnt goto Garden state to see if pork roll was still there or not... ** edited to say we boycotted the lame excuse for Macho and went elsewhere**

We went last saturday (not great weather-hence no lines) waited in line for Gargoyles for prob, 10 mins? Not long at all. It was fun to try it. I would never wait in a long line for it, but it was cool to do it once. There werent lines for anything. Rerides on some stuff because there wasnt anyone waiting

I saw nothing but pains in the a$$e$ complaining about the Slash show, of course it got changed/ basically ruined. Good shows at GA are few and far between sadly. I wish there were more *good* shows.

Ive been stuck on the lift hill of rolling thunder. Had to walk down the hill after they manually came and opened the buzz bars to let us walk down the hill. Was a little nerve wracking! Also got stuck on the skid brakes once coming back into the station. Had to walk along the planks -which were very bowed and bouncy i remember- to get back to the station. That was all in the 90s recently got stuck on superman coming back into the station in the flying position for about 20 mins. That was less than comfortable.

We went 5x. Same amount as last year. We have a pool, so it wasnt a priority to go get wet, we just go for slides. It always boggles my mind, the inability of the cashiers at HH to count change properly. Never, and i can honestly say never, have they given me proper change back om the first try. Always too little or too much. Its bad because the goddamn register tells them how much to give and they still dont get it right!! It makes me sad really. But we still enjoy going. Just count your change lol

Enough with the all the "coaster removal" nonsense. Theres no reason for them to rip any of them out, theres MORE than enough empty real estate in that park (closed areas, wasted space,etc) to put in new flats, coasters, what- have -you. I dont personally care for GL but dont feel it -or any other coasters should be removed. We've lost enough of them.

I went wednesday too. Gorgeous weather, very low crowds, everything was pretty much a walk on! Perfect day at the park. I love days like this in the early part of the season.....

I didnt watch the episode yet. My 11 yr old told me about it but i forgot to watch. Makes me giggle because i was her age when Full House was on, now she is my age with the redux. Feelin ooooooold right about now!! Lol

I love listening to a fellow BBB geek out but it totally agree they need another bathroom in HH. And they need to keep on top of cleaning them too. They were SO BAD the last time we went. Awful.

Only went 3x this year. Not a fan of it either. Very poorly ran and it's always mobbed.

Yeah no bring a friend for 9.99 either... My kids also use the coupon to bring their friends.

I went to the park yesterday, they were not doing the pre show for TDK..it was just walk through to the station. It was really strange not to see greeters/attendants at a few of the rides... Skull Mountain sticks out in my mind because they always hassle you about any loose articles worse than other rides. Nobody as there. It was odd. They were short handed all over the place too. The park as dead though so it was fine. Walk-ons to most things and rerides all over the place. It was picking up a smidge as we were leaving around 430, but still no where near as busy as I've seen. It was a great day to go, we enjoyed it!

I am kinda like "meh" about the new addition. I'll definitely try it after all the hoopla and crowds die down a bit. I find it humorous people are genuinely mad about this coaster or the fact that it was leaked, though. At least it won't ruin another ride (cough cough KA) or be labeled as a coaster, when it's not,,,,el diablo-I'm looking at you. So really, I think we did pretty good this year man! Relax! Personally I would have rather had a bunch of nice flats and diving shows brought back- but that's just my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions....
