  1. Was /is your truck red with all the "riding of the bull " writing in white all over it?? I saw it in the lot in the am on my way in and it made me smile
  2. I had read somewhere that SUF has a blown lift motor. And that RMT was to be having track work done? I saw the crane by SUF and the last time I was there (Before my most recent Saturday trip for ROTB) it was there too. Saturday was so ball sack hot , the Log Flume being closed was a huge disappointment for me. I may have actually shed a tear had I not been so dehydrated lol! Rapids was working though I didn't go on... I ended up leaving for a few hours & going home for swim in the pool then coming back for ERT.
  3. We went 4x with the kids. I think this was more than we have ever gone in years past. My hubby didn't even go once. I really hate the disorganization of the place and as mentioned, lack of lazy river tubes bugs me too. I don't like that it almost forces you to rent one. I think the clientele is what turns me off the most though. I don't even have to elaborate on that, cause anyone that's has gone there knows what I'm talking about. Oh and one of the times we went the cashier at Aquatopia ripped me off $20. Can't even count change wtf?!? I dealt with the manager(who was competent thank god) and counted his till. Turns out he was all kinds of over so he screwed others out of their $$ too. Damn shame. It could be a nice place if they hired adequate ,COMPETANT staff, and some how got rid of the trashy people that patronize it lol.... Dream on, Stef, dream on....
  4. Yay Knoebels!!!!! I'm so happy they ranked and got golden tickets love that park <3
  5. try option 2 . I talked to a live person just a few mins ago and she was awesome
  6. I have been to the park 2x (well before the recent closing) and it wasn't running all day both times. I was at hurricane harbor a couple days ago and never saw it run either. Now it's possible I just missed it when I was at HH cause I didn't stand there for an hour solely watching but it's very visible from all the slides. So I have yet to get to ride it. I do see it down more than I've seen it run. But then that may be my luck too.
  7. Yeah that sucks they aren't gonna be open Fridays. That was the only days I would go last year during fright fest BECAUSE it wasn't crowded and you could actually get on rides
  8. Some people just look for stuff to cause a stir about. This whole thing was totally taken out of context and the fact that it went as far as it did is redic.
  9. People that have nothing positive to say.....ever. It's always some negative bullsh*t , rant or trying to start crap. I get it , we all have a bad day here and there and need to vent sometimes. But ever time you say something? They are a total buzzkill.
  10. I feel the same about GL. I've ridden it 2x and both times I got a major headache after. It IS an uncomfortable ride. I really have no good reason to ride it again either cause a headache blows and ruins your day. Ain't nobody got time for that!
  11. Shockwave. But I don't remember what it was called after it moved.
  12. Yes sixflagsdude I totally agree. It seems like the news blows any roller coaster goings on out of proportion. When Nitro stopped on the lift hill and OMG...people had to take the steps!? The horror. No body is injured (thank goodness) so really is it 6'oclock news worthy? I don't think so, but then who the hell am I!?!
  13. That's funny. That song might ruin my vacay too
  14. Boulder dash sounds great. Better than el toro?!? Another coaster to put on the bucket list
  15. Several people posted it on my FB page this morning, hahaha! Bummer those ^ rides had mech trouble yesterday. Did they ed up opening all of them before the rain hit?
  16. And if you're a pass holder, it's so worth the 25 $ just for the park take over and ERT alone. Such a fun night. I cannot wait for it again this year!
  17. Nice trip report. I need t get to Hershey. It's been so long since I have been to the park
  18. Yeah the park wasn't too bad. There were a lot of cars in the lot ,but most of the coasters lines weren't bad. Really I think the longest line I saw was for log flume. And those poor folks waiting for zumanjaro.

I was happily kid free (they went camping with family) so my first thought was COASTERS!! What fun it is to go to GA with out kids for a change. Anyways.... Here's a quick trip report since I only went for a few hours. I got there at noon. The parking lot was pretty full, so I was a lil nervous about the line lengths at that point. I ran over to Zumanjaro to hopefully get to try it. I saw about 50 people standing in line at the beginning of the que and the ride attendant said they were testing, but not letting people on and weren't sure if or when it would open. The people in the front of the line said they were waiting for 2 hrs at that point. No thanks. KA was running but I'm not a huge fan so I skipped it and went to El toro. El Toro had a 5-7 min wait & 2 trains running. Awesome ride as always. I then went next door to Bizarro. It was a walk on. They had 2 or 3 trains running I can't remember which, but such a smooth great coaster that is all this talk I see of removal rumors makes me sad. It was one of the top 3 rides for the day. Oh the fire was also working too! I wanted to go next to Log Flume for a cool off but the line was well into the switch backs, so I skipped it and took the Skyride to the other side. It had about 5 min wait on the western side. While in the air, I could still see Zumanjaros gondolas being tested with no one in them. The rides left gondola (right if you're facing it) had a pretty big lag behind the other 2 gondolas still. On the Dream street side, the Skyride had a much longer wait than the western side did. I went directly over to my beloved Nitro and the line was back to the 30 minute wait sign. It only really took 12 mins to be next in line for a train though because they had all 3 trains running. I rode A train and it was great. No roughness I saw other postings about. While we were waiting to come into the station, I saw zumanjaro still testing but now all three gondolas were dropping closer together. No lag on the left. After Nitro, I went next door to Batman which was a walk on. Fast, crazy whip as usual. I really wanted to go on Nitro again so I did The line was a bit longer but still pretty much took the same amount of time to get on. This time I rode train B which was also smooth. It was only bout 2:45 at this point so seeing no line on Congo rapids, I went there next. It was also a walk on. I got soaked. Yay! I was the only one who did though which bummed the rest of the boat out because everyone was hot and wanted to get wet. I wish they would turn the falls back on or do something to ensure everyone gets soaked. I had planned on going on skull mountain and Buccaneer , but I was drenched so I figured I would just go swoop my GA Anniversary Tee I kept forgetting every other trip and high tail it. I didn't want to make the seats wet and gross the next person out behind me haha... As I was leaving my last glance up at zumanjaro still testing gondolas, I didn't see legs dangling so I am not sure if it ever opened? I think Riding of the Bull is my best bet to hopefully get to try it out.. So a successful coaster riding afternoon. Not bad for only 3 hrs of park time. El toro Bizarro Skyride Nitro x2 Batman Congo rapids
  20. Goliath looks so bad a$$ . Whatever you wanna call it (I too say wood coaster) it looks like a fun ride!
