Great TR! I'm glad WC lived up to the hype for you, as I've heard it can be very temperamental. I'm a bit shocked that it has El Toro levels of airtime, and it made it that high on your list. I'm also surprised that Bizarro was that good, as I've heard that it's rather sluggish with the new trains. It's sad that SFNE doesn't have that great operations, but that's nothing new to us down here in NJ

With a price tag that high it's also going to be a very long coaster, even for a launch

I must say, I'm impressed with the first attraction I got . I'll be glad if we get this, though the same attractions were presented for all parks I believe.

I'm [finally] locking in my prediction. Larger 10 Inversion S&S Free Fly Coaster with modifications to increase capacity for 2016. Although It's not exactly what I would like, it just seems pretty obvious right now.

Plus, there isn't really much RMC could do with that layout anyway

Look at Kingda Ka's second hill from Zumanjaro's queue; after a train passes it sways for a full 2 minutes

This guy I know went to the SFFT media day and casually chatted with the guys from S&S there, and they said that the next one will be here at SFGAdv and will be larger. Take this with a grain of salt, but it is actually a huge possibility.

Airtime>Inversions every time

To me the ride looks ok, it's just the capacity/lines I'm really worried about

Well since they're replacing the upper pulley and probably other cable lift mechanisms, maybe they won't have to slow the cable lift at the top anymore! It would be insane speeding around the curve and being dragged down the drop

Personally I don't think an S&S 4D coaster is a good fit at all here. Even with more cars, it would still be lower capacity than most types of coasters. We really need another coaster that can eat up lines like Nitro, because lines for one of those Free Fly coasters would be unimaginable. I don't even want to think of how long they would be with our standard of operations, and I personally despise long lines, so I likely wouldn't even ride in the first season and wait until the lines got bearable.

^^There were a lot of security guards yesterday, I agree. I tried asking what was coming and 2016 and what was going on in Old Country/By the lake, but most said they didn't know. I saw some guy literally cut everyone in line for Kingda Ka, nobody even tried to stop him. He just hopped over every railing while the guard went to go check something at the entrance.

^Agreed. I looked back on speculation from 2006, and this is very true. If you compare both POV's they are similar; the first 4 elements are identical, actually.

^Interesting fact, Intamin has stated that they are easily able to do inversions on their wooden coasters, it's just that no one has asked them to do so.

It makes me really happy to see that every ride (except Twister, no surprise) was open. Glad to see Kingda Ka is back up and running, I didn't think it would be open anywhere near this soon!

^I went after you posted and I could definitely see how that's possible, the sizes seem to be exactly the same.

Ka's cable has indeed snapped, and I'm hearing that they covered up some of the track with tarp. I think this is a major malfunction, as they will have to wait for parts from Switzerland to make the repair. My guess is about a month of downtime.
