  1. Medusa was my first choice of coasters that needed a redesign. Now my first choice would be Bizarro. It's the most inappropriately themed coaster in the park.
  2. ^ Unfortunately an example of the bad reputation the parks still have.
  3. I believe I know where I can get a copy of the show. It may take a couple of days to find out. I'll let you know.
  4. Just a guess, but were 2 of the rides already in the park and just reopened after being closed for a while?
  5. So "Go Big! Go Six Flags" isn't really the slogan, just the word "Go" that will be tacked onto many different words? Sounds a little vague, with no real direction. Just the word "Go" is pretty lame for a slogan.
  6. The new website is just as cluttered and obnoxious as the old website, just different colors. It doesn't even look like a site for a park, it looks like a Doritos ad. The most prominant thing on the page is "3 Easy Payments". If you want to see what a website for a park should look like, go to buschgardens.com. It's classy, attractive, and highlights coasters while making the parks look beautiful and appropriate for families. And "Go Big Go Six Flags"?! What does that even mean? It's another silly slogan that doesn't say anything about the parks.
  7. I'm with you. I'm afraid it would take the parks more in the direction of tacky amusement parks instead of world class theme parks.

    Freefall

It banged around a lot when it was new.
  9. Too much wasted space?! One thing the park does not have too much of is space. Otherwise they would not have to keep building in the parking lot. If it's too dark, put in some lights, easy fix. Don't take away the one last area that still resembles a PARK.
  10. I like the fact that there is one quiet place left in the park. I hope they leave it alone.
  11. What? I'm there at least once a week, usually more, and I've never seen any "rough locals" hanging around.
  12. I wish they would get rid of ALL the branded characters. The parks were so much better before all that nonsense took over. Provide great rides, quality food and entertainment in a pleasant atmosphere. That would attract more people than licensed characters.
  13. The ride really needs a theme, but first the area of the park has to have a theme to incorporate it into. That area of the park is just a hodge-podge mess of unrelated things.
  14. Red, White, and balloon on the corner of Dream Street near the fountain?
  15. I would just like to see the Character Cafe return to the Yum Yum Palace and Granny's back to Gingerbread Fancy.
  16. A hotel would be great, although I doubt they will do it anytime soon. The waterpark inside a hotel might not be such a good idea. If the hotel had a water park, people would not pay for Hurricane Harbor.
  17. I just do not think a giant metal tower would fit in the old west, no matter how you theme the que. I like the stunt arena area a lot better. A giant totem pole would work, but I don't think they can actually theme the tower itself, the tracks need to be open.
  18. A giant metal tower would be a great addition to the Western Section?!?! That's just what that section does NOT need. If you want a drop tower, replace the parachutes with one, that's basically what they are anyway, just a boring version.
  19. They should turn it back into the Enchanted Forrest and fill it with flats.
  20. A good theatre is desperately needed at GA. Unfortunately they already have theatres that just sit dormant, I doubt they'll build anymore. I would prefer they just tear down the 4-D theatre. It's an obnoxious building and it was a bad place to build one. Showcase would be a decent location if The Old Country was open. Unfortunately the theatre has no wing or fly space and the tent lets in all the outside noise while the shows are in progress. Right now that might not be a problem because everything around it has been closed, but if the area was open and rides were installed, it makes the theatre too noisy. It's a good location because it is on the edge of the park and guests do not walk behind it. If they're going to build a large buiding like that, it should be on the park's perimiter, and not another big gray warehouse in the middle of the park.
  21. That ride really gave the area a great atmosphere. It's so dreary without it. I can't imagine they can be that expensive, and would certainly be worth whatever it costs.
