  1. We had the worst time at Clementon Park. It was mid August, weekday and was somewhat crowded. Seemed they had hardly any help, they burned the hamburgers and fries were cold. The wooden coaster was closed and even 1/2 the land rides were closed. And even when we wanted to buy souveniors (don't know why) their shelves were empty. It was so bad I email them (which I never do). I did receive an apology and 3 tickets to return by the end of the year buy by then they were closing in a week anyway. Kings Dominion is a hit or miss also, a few years ago we went at the end of summer (actually alot of the VA kids were back in school) and had a great time. Hardly any wait, park was clean, food was good; stayed at the Hotel in the park which was nice and went to the water park the next day. Loved it so much we went back in mid June and it was the complete opposite. 1/2 the food stands were open, poor food, poor ride dispatch, only 1 train was rolling for I305. We got there at 10am and almost left at noon. It was that bad.
  2. Mine was lightning loops in early 80's (maybe 82 or 83), my daughter was sooperdooperlooper in Hershey in 2003 and my son was corkscrew at CP in 2007.
  3. Does anyone have any detail/prices on the season pass dining option?
  4. Mean Streak at Cedar Point. In 2000 I loved it but every year after it got worse. My daughter and I rode it in 2007 and it was horrible. Only rode it the one time that year.
  5. Interactive dark ride is a must! a max air type ride, a skyhawk type ride...(sorry about stealing some of CP rides). Antique cars near the lakefront would be nice but I would like to see a train ride going around the lake and if possible stopping at each end of the park.
  6. I happen to be at DP on friday (Music in the park) and it was packed. Never saw that before there. I wish DP would do the same thing that Gadv does with SP and having a payment plan. I dont mind $22 coming out of my checking account for 12 months like Gadv does but can't drop $400 on 4 season passes in one lump sum (or even $600 plus on the maxx pass since we go to Kings Dominion a few days a year). Gadv is a better value for SP right now, but I have the crowds there and sometimes we would rather just go to Dorney.
  7. The last weekend that scream machine was open we bought the shirts, 2 beer mugs and 2 beer glasses that had the dates of the opening and closing. Then better yet... we got our picture taken wearing the shirts at the entrance and waiting in the que at 9:00 at night that friday when it was raining and no one else was waiting for it to open back up.
