Never made it Coney Island on Sunday... Change of plans, going to OC NJ on Tuesday, will ride 2 rides there and then hit The Joker on Sunday or Monday with my kids for my 150th. I think I would rather be with my kids then doing it alone. Hopefully I can get a shot holding up a sign...

I did see that afterwards...tks I think I will do all of them on Sunday making Thunderbolt my 150th

A few people suggested Thunderbolt since I go to GADV all the time. I like your choice of Banshee at Kings Island, but I might have picked The Beast. If I tried I could probably find out what my 100th coaster was. Need to just go back through the years... It was probably at Cedar Point in the mid 2000's.... confirmed... at Cedar Point... just don't know which one!

I have a dilemma... I am at 147 coasters that I rode and will be dropping off my dad to visit my brother in Long Island this weekend. I have been to Luna Park only once to ride Cyclone. They have 3 more coasters there... Should I ride all 3 making Thunderbolt my 50th or ride just 2 and ride The Joker at GADV to make that my 50th? I will probably go to GADV next Sunday and it's a tough decision. I don't remember my 100tth coaster since I started to used coastercounter.com and had over 130 when I submitted all my rides at that time. Opinions will help, thanks.

Saw on the news (6ABC I think) that the Joker ride got stuck at the top of the lift for about an hour yesterday? Can anyone confirm this? Can't find it on any website. Was I dreaming?

Nice trip report. Have not been to the park since 2007. Every year we want to try and go up there but never seem to make. I never went to the park for the day, we always camped there at least one night which makes it an even better experience. Maybe this year we will go...

My daughter Samantha Graduated from Upper Moreland High School on Wednesday June 8th. She started riding coasters since the age of 3 (Sesame Place...Vapor Trail). Going to miss riding with her since she will be Attending St John's University in NYC in the fall. But I might surprise her one weekend in the fall and pick her up from school and go to Six Flags New England since we have not been there yet. I rode more coasters with her than anyone one else and she never said no to any of them. She was my "coaster buddy".

Upper Moreland High School last day was Thursday (yesterday). I don't know about all the other schools in my area though.

We try and go 4-5 times a season on Sundays... We get there before it opens, get a spot by the wave pool, hit as many slides as possible till noon, then get something to eat and hit the wave pool during the afternoon before leaving. But since last year we ended up going to Asbury Park a lot more on Sundays. Parking is close, beach not too crowded, cheap to go on the beach $7 but free for me since I am a Veteran. AND... perfect body surfing waves... at 49 tears young I can still ride them there.

Should have gone there on Sunday instead of HH... I could have gotten in there for free (Disabled Vet) and my family at a discounted rate. Still can't afford SP to the park since we have Gadv passes... Not cost effective and too expensive to get both. Maybe I will switch over when I know we will be taking a Cedar Point trip.

We go tent camping there. They have some sites with platforms available that you can put your tent on (which is nice). There is running water, power and showers which suited us just fine along with a camp store and pool (but we never used). Prices are very fair for being next to the park. It's also nice at nice walking around because some people decorate their sites. It's nice that you enter the park from either side. And its nice when you can stay at the park till 10pm, then walk a short distance and you're back at the site instead of trying to get out of a jammed parking lot and drive home. Makes you stay there till it closes.

Nice Trip report. You should try and camp there. Every time we go there, we always camp out. Keeps you at the park till 10pm and the next morning you can even walk around the park when it is closed and get breakfast there... inexpensive and good.

Arrived at HH on Sunday at 10am. Security lines took 20 minutes and Entrance with Biometrics took 10 minutes... Very crowded on Sunday. My kids got 3 slides in by 11:30am, after that they did not want to bother. Left park at 2:30 and there was still a long line to get in.

Thanks, now I hope I can get a good signal off my phone to tether with And hopefully in the future they will put up a bar with TV's like the Cabana in Gadv and near the wavepoll at SFA

Does anyone know if you can bring a tablet into either Gadv or HH. My guess is yes but I don't want to be turned around by security. Going to HH on Sunday and want to watch the Indy 500 while sitting by the wave pool.

When we have gone, we have never gotten the ride pass. I think just my daughter and I have spent close to the cost but never went over. Plus whatever we did not use, we just used them the next day (or next trip).

My daughter drives the Red Dodge Dakota most of the time now.

Why would hangers down in the south have rust on them? Not a lot of rain and with the heat to evaporate all the moisture? If they did that intentionally it does not make that mush sense so I say False

We usually do... KA, Zum, EL Toro, Bizarro, LF, Skyway, Skull, Nitro, BTR,TDK... done by 1pm and either walk around or go home, but now lately its even less. But with The Joker there I don't know what we will do...
