Ah it's all part of that pettiness that goes along with school. Boy am I glad that is over. We went to the play my gf helped direct last night and there were definately some divas in the making there as well. Happens everywhere and I guess they will eventually learn how the world works.

Today Fruits or Vegetables?

Alas yes this topic which is usually bubbling with activity is rather down lately. Oh well it's all good we were all busy prepping for opening day

^I agree with GAcoaster here. I think these decisions are in the best interest of the company at the time. I know in past seasons I have seen ride operators at things such as Tango with 1 or 2 people on the ride at a time, and it just doesn't seem worth it at all. Heck as much as I love Houdini, I can understand that it might not be worth operating it with issues they have had, and that money can go to better places. I think the park is going to seem just fine when everyone gets there on Saturday morning and everything will be on its way to a successful season.

Sounds like a very welcomed addition what was an amazing parade already.

Dolphins Peanut Butter or Jelly?

I've decided that since it's such a short and limited day for us Saturday it's going to be a flat ride, shows, and picture taking tyoe of day. This way I don't have to worry about lockers, can use my new spiffy camera, and can still enjoy the flat rides I get to do less often.

I think a ton has reeally gotten done especially between this tour and the last one you guys were on. I really applaud the park for all the work they have done this off-season especially considering they don't have a "major" new addition, but I think they are on the right track with refining what they have to make the park as it stands today as enjoyable as possible.

The park has really treated you guys well this off-season with the tours and all. I'm glad to see such a strong relationship between the park and the site, something you certainly don't always see.

Well I'm officially turned off from this revamp at this point.

My favorite from last year was my gf and I on the Runaway Train by ourselves completely for 2 runs. Just a fun little roller coaster verison of the tunnel of love lol.

It really would be a shame to close down the wheel for FF with the new lighting and rehab done with it. At the same time Dead Man's Party in front of the Wheel is a real staple of FF. There is plenty of reasoning either way so we will have to see. I think a lit up wheel timed to the show would be pretty awesome though.

Sounds about right to me. Hopefully we'll get the park to ourselves like last year. That was a good night with lots of rides for everyone.

Medusa Horse or Cow?

You know I was thinking this for a while along with a bunch of other things, but then I stopped and realized to myself that even though it was gone again for the 2008 FF, I didn't even notice. I guess that is a good sign for the park when someone who goes as often as I did last year still had enough to occupy him durinng both his FF visits. I'm wondering if there will be any rides this year subject to the late opening Medusa was given last season this year. There are definately others that it could probably be done to, none are really as far from the front gate I suppose.

Any worse than Viper and you'd probably need to sign a waiver!

Wow I am sure glad I'm not privy to whatever that is all about.

I dunno I'm just really not big on this whole throw superman into the Western portion of the park. Especially with a weak villain such as bizarro whom I have never cared much for.

I've heard of Bizzaro, but there is no way they could ever possibly make that work here.

Finished up here about 5 minutes ago. Trust me though nothing is as bad as the one we barely avoided last year the first night they canceled GITP.
